摘要:
The problem of estimating the transfer function of a multivariable linear stochastic system is considered. The transfer function is parametrized as a black box and no order is chosen apriori. This means that the model order may increase to infinity as the number of observed data tends to infinity. The asymptotic covariance of the transfer function estimate is calculated and is found to be independent of the noise model when the model order increases to infinity. The derived expressions are also used to determine optimal ' unprejudiced ' input signals for the identification experiment.

摘要:
A new algorithm for determining the generic rank of structural matrices is presented. The use of the algorithm in determining whether a system is structurally controllable is discussed and it is found to be adaptable to the much wider problem of control system synthesis such as the elimination of excess manipulated variables or control objectives.

摘要:
Structural analysis techniques have been applied to the problem of eliminating excess control objectives when developing single-input single-output regulatory control schemes. An algorithm is presented for determining whether a control scheme involving fewer observations than control objectives is possible and, if so, what are feasible minimum sots of observations.

摘要:
In this work, we consider what happens when the receding-horizon control laws are designed with finite final-state penalization matrices. A sufficient condition in terms of system and performance index parameters is given for the discrete receding-horizon control (RHC) laws to be stabilizing when used for suboptimal regulation. This condition enables the weighting matrices in the quadratic criterion to be pro-assigned so that stability of design is secured. The exact value of RHC cost in terms of optimal cost and an easily computable upper bound on its deviation from the optimal cost is found. Fast algorithms are included to calculate the particular RHC feedback gains introduced. Dual results in estimation theory are pointed out. In this way, RHC is proposed as an attractive suboptimal alternative to the optimal terminal control of linear discrete-time systems.

摘要:
Recent papers have examined the problem of robustness of the stability of multi-variable feedback systems to perturbations ΔG in matrix form. Attention has been primarily focused on the use of the maximal singular value δ ( ΔG). This paper considers how structured information on the uncertainty in each element Δ δ (9) con be used in a similar way based on eigenvalue and singular value analysis.

摘要:
In tills paper the stability and the stability conditions of a number of second-order retarded delay linear differential systems are discussed. The paper shows especially that the system which has stationary oscillation when without delay can become asymptotically stable in the large in certain suitable delay intervals.

摘要:
Differential polynomial matrices with coefficients meromorphic on an open intervalI⊆Rare studied first. The subclass of full matricesP(having the propertiesPis non-singular antl every local solution ofPf=0 extends analytically toI) forms a sublattice with respect to right division of square matrices which is anti-isomorphic to the lattice of the corresponding solution spaces. This and further properties are then exploited in the study of time-varying systems in differential operator representation. Results on equivalence, state space models, controllability/observability and transfer functions are derived.
