摘要:
AbstractThe mapping method is applied to electrical circuits described by Duffing's nonlinear differential equation and the invariant curves are observed under various circuit parameters. The conventional circuit which is described by Duffing's equation consists of a series resonant circuit containing reactors. This circuit has difficulty in realizing nonlinear characteristics because nonlinear terms depend on the magnetization characteristics of the core. It is also difficult to evaluate accurately the attenuation constant of the equation because the eddy current loss and hysteresis loss of the core affect the circuit loss. From the viewpoint described above, this paper proposes a method of constructing nonlinear capacitors with any nonlinear characteristics using operational amplifiers, where the capacitor in the series resonant circuit has nonlinear characteristics. Using this experimental circuit and the invariant‐curve display device proposed previously by the authors, the invariant curves are observed experimentally. AbstractA binary quantized digital phase‐locked loop (DPLL) is a class of digital PLLs having advantage of its simplicity and high reliability. This class of DPLL has been analyzed by applying Markov theory. However, this method has a limited range of applications and the numerical solutions of the performances have not been obtained without using a computer. In this paper, a binary quantized DPLL is analyzed by replacing the DPLL with the equivalent linear and nonlinear analog PLL. This equivalent method of analysis can be applied to more general cases. AbstractThe research on applying the flexibility of a microprocessor into facsimile has been progressing. In general, it has been considered difficult to realize encoding and decoding processes by a general‐purpose one‐chip microprocessor due to the limitation of its processing capability. However, it is desirable to use flexible software processing for efficient encoding of a tone image or a mixed image between a tone image and characters. In this paper, we show a qualitative limit of an image decoding process by software using a one‐chip microprocessor based on experimental investigation. In addition, we propose differential Plane Coding which is an implementable coding system within this limitation. AbstractSo far, many proposals have been put forward for increasing the channel capacity of the ALOHA system. Among these is the use of the CSMA system which is known to improve to a great extent the properties of the random access system by ground radio or cable. So far, the slotted CSMA system has been studied in detail for its dynamic characteristics and traffic control effect. But in the case of non‐slotted CSMA, except that its capacity is almost the same, a detailed analysis has yet to be done. In this paper, the dynamic characteristics of the non‐slotted CSMA due to ground radio has been investigated by equilibrium point analysis. It is revealed that the throughput characteristics of the non‐slotted CSMA system are almost similar to those for the slotted CSMA system, but the system stability is quite poor. Next it is proposed that a simple traffic control be applied in the non‐slotted CSMA and the improvement in stability has been studied. It is shown that the dispersion of the packet delay is increased slightly but the operation due to this simple control system can be made sufficiently stable. AbstractThe admittance of an IMPATT‐diode pellet is calculated by a large‐signal analysis and the equivalent circuit parameters of the diode package are obtained by measurement. AbstractThe conventional digital phase‐locked loop (DPLL) cannot be used for high‐frequency purposes, because the local oscillator frequency of the DPLL is several times the input frequency. This paper proposes a use of trigger oscillators to the DPLL. The first‐ and second‐order DPLL's using trigger oscillators can be used if input frequency is as high as the maximum logic clock frequency. AbstractLifetime and diffusion constant of minority carriers in Si have been measured using phase shift technique in EBIC. The phase of EBIC delays in regard to the recombination in materials when the intensity‐modulated electron beam is used in the line scan method of EBIC. The phase shift between the excitation source and the EBIC is calculated theoretically by solving the three‐dimensional time‐dependent diffusion equation. The phase shift increases linearly with the scanning distance. The phase shift against the distance is a function of lifetime and is not influenced by surface recombination. From the values of the phase shift and the diffusion length, the lifetime and the diffusion constant are determined simultaneously.
