摘要:
The paper deals with the identification problem for the Wiener-type system, where the memoryless output non-linearity is known but is not necessarily one-to-one or even monotonic. First, the deterministic identifiability test for the linear dynamic segment is derived assuming that the respective segment outputs are accessible for direct measurements. Next, using the results by Masry and Cambanis (1980), a least-squares type parameter estimation algorithm for linear dynamics is proposed for the case where only the noise-corrupted outputs of the overall non-linear tandem can be gained. A convergence with probability one is shown of the parameter estimate to the true value of the system parameter vector and some computational aspects of the proposed algorithm are discussed.

摘要:
We consider a linear model reference control system in which the plant system and input matrices are uncertain and the plant state and control have retarded arguments. We present a control system consisting of a non-linear control law to handle the uncertainties. Under certain assumptions, this controller guarantees that all solutions are uniformly ultimately bounded. We also demonstrate the attractiveness of the switching hypersurface and show that along the hypersurface the trajectories are insensitive to system parameter variations.

摘要:
For allocating the localized target in tracking, auxiliary data and signal processors are needed to achieve the measurement in the related different localized target. An efficient recursive algorithm to track multiple targets is developed in this paper for the case of the localized surveillance system. The main effort in the estimation of the filtering and prediction filter applied in tracking targets is concentrated on the error covariance and filter gain. The advantages of this residual algorithm are the use of prestored data and the fact that the target trace has a reasonable convergence computation rate for localized target estimation and prediction.

摘要:
Feedback controller design based on an imprecisely known plant model may cause performance degradation and even instability of the closed-loop system. It is therefore important to design robust controllers using a priori information on the model uncertainties. The method presented in this paper considers uncertainties satisfying bounding constraints, and ensures closed-loop stability as well as satisfactory performances characterized by a quadratic cost functional that remains bounded in the presence of uncertainties of the above class.

摘要:
A linear time-delay state equation is solved by the proposed generalized orthogonal polynomial (GOP) method. The parameter identification of such a system with time delay is also studied. The system is partitioned into several time intervals. Within a certain time interval, the state and control functions are assumed to be expressed by the GOP series. Time-delay differential equations are transformed into a series of algebraic equations of expansion coefficients. An effective algorithm is proposed to solve the time-delay system problem and to estimate the system parameters. By using such an effective computational algorithm, the calculation procedures are greatly simplified. Two illustrative examples are given to demonstrate the validity of the method. Very accurate results are obtained.

摘要:
The effective generalized orthogonal polynomials (GOPs) expansion is applied to estimating the parameters of a single-input-single-output linear time-varying system. It is based on the integration operational matrix for GOPs, which can represent all kinds of individual orthogonal polynomial. Using the concept of GOP expansion for a state function and a control function, the differential input-output equation is converted into a set of overdetermined linear algebraic equations. The unknown parameters are evaluated by a weighted least-squares method. An illustrative example is given. Very accurate results are obtained.

摘要:
This article presents a differential geometric approach for the design of variable structure controllers (VSC) leading to sliding regimes (Emelyanov 1967) in nonlinear smooth dynamical systems described in Rn. New properties, inherited from the geometry of the sliding manifold, are obtained in the controlled system when sliding conditions prevail. A sliding motion is obtained thanks to opportune switchings among the available structures in the feedback loop. This discontinuous control action is aimed at guaranteeing manifold reachability and invariance.

摘要:
The most popular Box-Jenkins method, generally used for short-term forecasting, is modified to make it suitable for medium and long-range forecasting. The non-stationarity and seasonality have been identified and, after removing trends and/or seasonality, the series are tested for stationarity by various methods. The series have been fitted for different auto-regressive moving average (ARMA) models in the multiplicative modes. The parameter values have been determined from autocorrelation function (a.c.f.) and partial auto-correlation function (p.a.c.f.) cor-relograms and the whiteness of the residue has been checked. A forecast has been made for energy demand for one year with the help of this model and the result has been compared with actual demand.

摘要:
The paper presents a singular perturbation approach to the design of near-optimal controllers with a prescribed degree of stability. All the poles of the resulting closed-loop system are constrained to lie in a half plane Re(s) < −α. where α>0 and α ε (0, α0). The approach presented overcomes difficulties associated with the optimal control design For large-scale systems and does not require a knowledge of the perturbation parameter ϵ. The results are verified through an illustrative numerical example.

摘要:
Several algorithms are presented for identifying linear continuous MIMO systems and systems with time delay from samples of input-output data. The basis of these algorithms is the corresponding difference equation of the continuous systems using block-pulse functions. The recursive algorithms for determining the transfer function matrix in MIMO systems and in systems with known time delay are simpler than other algorithms based on the operational properties of orthogonal functions, and are easy to implement on-line. The algorithms for identifying systems with unknown time delay are also easy to implement owing to the simple and straightforward treatment of input-output data. Illustrative examples show that these algorithms give satisfactory results for certain identification problems.
