摘要:
The purpose of this study is to guarantee the existence of aperiodic time-dependent solutions in an optimal economic growth model. It is proved that endogenous oscillations may appear when stability is lost by virtue of two pairs of complex conjugate eigenvalues of the linearized system simultaneously crossing the imaginary axis.

摘要:
A symbolic, automatable, exact, ‘top-down’ algorithm for computing the transient and steady-state response of DC-to-DC converters is presented. The procedure is applicable to any DC-to-DC converter, regardless of its structural complexity, number of reactive elements, and number of electronic switching devices. Each linear switch configuration that the circuit goes through during a cycle is described by a set of state equations. Their solution represents the state variables waveforms which characterize the dynamic behaviour of the converter in the interval corresponding to the configuration taken into account. As the state variables are the same in all configurations, and the state is continuous across each switching change, the above partial solutions are alternatively used for computing the transient and steady-state response of the circuit. The result is exact and the continuous character of the converter variables is preserved. The method is illustrated by application to the computation of the dynamics of a boost-buck converter in optimal topology.

摘要:
A robustness index for adaptive control is proposed. The control algorithm is based on pole-zero placemen!. Parameter estimation via weighted least-squares recursive formulas is presented. By using the index, effects of the modelling error on the performance of the adaptive control system are indicated. If the index is less than one, the system is stable. Proper on-line control is obtained.

摘要:
A method is proposed for the estimation of longitudinal aerodynamic coefficients (parameters) of external stores through the technique of parameter estimation from flight test data. The release of stores acts as an input to generate flight test data which are analysed through an output error method, called the Gauss-Newton method, to estimate the store parameters. An example with simulated data has been used to show how the accuracy of estimation is affected by the varying noise level in the measured response, the initial values of parameters used, and the location of stores on the parent aeroplane, It is shown that for low noise levels, the so-called Method 1 can estimate aeroplane as well as store parameters in one single step. However, for high noise levels, the two step approach of Method 2 is recommended whereby the aeroplane parameters are first estimated separately and then the store parameters are obtained by analysing the aeroplane response to store dropping.

摘要:
An algorithm for the on-line identification of multivariable non-stalionary systems is presented. The procedure is based on the first arithmetic means (C, 1) of multiple Fourier series. Convergence in the probability and with probability one is proved. Systems with multiplicative non-stalionarity are discussed in details.

摘要:
The problem of the sensitivity analysis of systems involving λ-variations may be treated by a new method based on the idea of solving the sensitivity equation of a system using orthogonal functions. Though the presented method is based on the set of block-pulse functions it can also be used for other sets of orthogonal functions. The approach can also be applied for solving other problems of a similar nature (inversion of Laplace transform involving Dirac impulses, analysis of singular perturbed systems etc.).
