SUMMARYForty eases of “prurigo of pregnancy” have been, diagnosed during a three year period, and it is possible to divide these clinically into early and late types. The prognosis in each type is good, and as response to simple measures is adequate, steroid medication is rarely required.Hepatic dysfunction in pregnancy may produce irritation, bid on a basis of morphology of the eruption, time of onset in pregnancy, and low rate of recurrence in successive pregnancies, it is considered that hepatic dysfunction is not the cause of prurigo of pregna
