摘要:
AbstractHigher derivative sensitivity coefficients for a lumped linear time‐invariant networks are derived by an extension of the method used by Richards to calculate second derivative sensitivity coefficients. A computer algorithm to generate these coefficients efficiently is provided together with array space and the number of operations required at each stage. Extensions of the above approach for networks containing distributed and nonlinear elements are also discussed. Finally, time domain sensitivity results are derived and the corresponding changes in the computer algorithm indicate

AbstractIn many applications, a network has to be solved repeatedly while certain element values are changed. The computation is reduced significantly if the network functions are generated in terms of these variable parameters explicitly. This paper presents a method of doing this which requires the solution of the network with at mostm+1 excitations when there aremvariable parameters.

AbstractPrevious methods1–4for inverting the nodal admittance matrix when the elements are rational functions of the Laplace transform variablesused pivotal techniques. Problems of numerical stability made this type of approach suitable only for quite small circuits.A new method based on diagonalizing the A‐matrix of a set of state equations defining the circuit has greatly improved stability. The state equations are derived directly from the nodal equations using a newly developed algorithm. AbstractIn this paper the synthesis problem of power‐network extensions will be studied under the assumption that the loads are deterministic. The extended network satisfying conditions on the branch voltage limits will be optimized by the minimization of the network ‘first‐cost’. Useful notions such as network extension impedance and extension coefficient matrices will be introduced to describe the effect of network extensions. Two optimization methods will be presented. In the first one the cost function is linear and the constraints appear in the form of simple fractions. In the second method the cost function is assumed to be quadratic but the constraints are linear. In the latter case the extensible branches have to form a tree. AbstractThe paper contains the following new results concerning the solvability of the DC equations and the implicit integration formula of a broad class of nonlinear networks.(i)A new method of proof is given.(ii)Conditions are given for checking the unique solvability of the DC equationF(x)+Ax = bin case of monotone (not strictly monotone) and ‘steep’ characteristics and in the case when the characteristics have negative slope. AbstractTwo different realizations are given for synthesizing a second order nonminimum phase transfer function. The first circuit uses a single operational amplifier and a passive RC bandpass building block and has the advantage of being always stable. The second configuration uses two operational amplifiers to activate a symmetrical twinT, and has the advantage of providing a unity gain factor. Sensitivities to all circuit components and the frequency limitation equations for both networks are given.

AbstractThe variations in varactor parameters which can be compensated by the electrical re‐tuning of two specific amplifiers have been studied using a digital computer. The designs of two different microstrip parametric amplifiers were at first optimized with respect to the bandwidth. AbstractThe article includes two fundamental sets of relations for minimum phase digital filters; the one set defines the relations between the gain and phase components, and the other set defines the relations between the group delay and gain slope components of the pulse transfer function of the filter. Two applications of these relations are considered: (i) Graphical computation of the phase characteristic of a digital filter with a prescribed gain characteristic. (ii) Computation of the gain characteristic of a linear phase digital filter.
