摘要:
AbstractThis paper gives a treatment of the theory of noise in general non‐linear multiport systems by use of the Volterra series representation. Expressions for the response of a non‐linear noisy (N + l)‐port system with N signal input ports and one output port under excitation of noise and a deterministic signal at each input port are determined. Noise generated in the system itself is accounted for by equivalent random variable noise voltage or current generators. These internal noise generators are extracted from the system and applied at separate external ports. A noise‐free equivalent of the noisy system is obtained with N signal input ports and Q – I input ports accounting for the systemgenerated noise. the Volterra series representation is used to describe the input‐output response relation of the system. Once the Volterra transfer functions of the system are determined and cross‐and autocorrelations of the noise generators are specified, it is possible to determine the noise performance of the system under arbitrary noise and deterministic signal excitation. the investigation leads to the determination of expressions for the equivalent average exchangeable output noise power density and the average output noise power flow from the system. Expressions for the noise power densitypand the noise power flow at the load of the non‐linear system are determined. AbstractAn improved form of representation of multidimensional (k‐D) discrete lossless two‐ports in a form similar to the well‐known Belevitch canonical form of classical one‐dimensional network theory is presented. Representations of the transfer function matrix, chain matrix and hybrid matrix associated with discrete lossless multidimensional twoports are derived on the basis of our earlier result.An improved form of representation of multidimensional (k‐D) discrete lossless two‐ports in a form similar to the well‐known Belevitch canonical polynomial associated with the system. AbstractThe SC implementation of doubly terminated reactance reference filters containing Brune or C‐type sections is presented. It is shown that the one‐to‐one correspondence between the elements of the reactance reference network and its simulated SC circuit is still maintained. 摘要:
AbstractIn this exposition we hope to dispel some common misconceptions about the nature of hysteresis elements are associated with parasitic dynamics in the circuit and therefore should not be considered part of the static characteristics.We examine the Schmitt trigger ciruit, which exhibits hysteresis in its transfer characteristic, and study a neuraltype pulse oscillator, one of a class of oscillators which relies for its operation on diriving point hysteresis. We illustrate the concepts of DC characteristics, the dynamic route, the jump phenomenon and parasitic dynamics. We show how a clear understanding of these ciruit theoretic principles leads to better analysis and synthesis methods for hysteretic cirucits.
