摘要:

A scattering layer extending from 1200 to 1400 has been measured at two locations in the Pacific. Observations over a frequency range of 3 30 kHz indicate a scatterer population density of 25 per 106m3. The target strengths of the scatterers are consistent with values calculated for a resonant gas bubble of 0.4‐cm radius.
