摘要:
Experimental investigations to determine the effect of curvature on dynamic response and fatigue resistance of simple panels exposed to broad‐band and discrete frequency acoustical excitation are presented in detail. Descriptions of (a) modes‐shape studies, (b) response to discrete frequency and broad‐band excitation, and (c) fatigue tests are given. Particular emphasis is placed on evaluating the role that panel curvature plays in resisting broad‐band acoustically induced fatigue. [Research was sponsored by the U. S. Air Force.]
