A finite all integer method is proposed for solving a class of integer convex programming problems in which the problem functions are convex polynomials with rational coefficients. A small numerical example is also given to illustrate the algorithm.

摘要:

In the paper a subgradient-optimization-method for solving a class of three -stage transportation problems with change of the sets to be transported in each stage is given. The algorithm can simply be generalized for solvingn-stage problems. Advantages of the algorithm are: a low expense per interaction, a good numerical behaviour and a fast obtaining of a suboptimal solution. The assertions are illustrated by numerical examples.

The paper shows a method for the calculation of beginning times of activities in networks with stochastic durations. The method takes into consideration moments of duration up to the orderk. The moment method has the advantage that it does not need other information about distribution functions. The accuracy for smallkis already* high. Fork= 2 (taking into consideration expected values and variances) we get good results. The theses from paper [9] are confirmed by these results.

In this paper we will be applying some of the methods of decomposition as proposed in [9] but we will concentrate on one particularly interesting case of a stochastic dynamic system, e.g. that of a linear-quadratic Gaussian dynamic team. In fact, this is a more complicated analogue of the familiar linear system with a quadratic criterion. De- mic team is not yet known - mainly because of a counterexample by Witsenhausen, who showed in this ease that the optimal decision ride need not be linear.

A stationary altering Markovian decision model (SAMDM) with the discrete state and action spaces is defined and investigated. It is a special non-stationary MDM in which the characteristics of the model reiterate in two periods. Methods for solving stationary Markovian decision problems are modified for SAMDM.
