摘要:
AbstractThe vibrational spectra of (CH32PH) and (CD3)2PH have been studied and assignments made. In the infrared, the region 4000–33 cm−1was recorded for the gaseous and solid states whereas the Raman spectra from 3500–10 cm−1in the gaseous, liquid, and solid states were observed. There is some evidence of weak hydrogen bonding based on the behavior of the phosphorus‐hydrogen stretching and bending modes. There also appears to be considerable interaction between the metnyl rocking and phosphorus‐carbon stretching modes. Thea″ anda′ torsional modes appear to be accidentally degenerate at 182 and 142 cm−1for the ‘light’ and ‘heavy’ compounds, respectively, which gives barriers of 2.14 and 2.30

AbstractPresupposing exponentially decaying states (with phenomenological lifetimes) of the particle system interacting with the radiation field, the shape and width of Raman lines is discussed on a quantum‐mechanical basis for the most important types of excitation: non‐resonance, pre‐resonance, rigorous resonance with a continuum level and with a discrete, non‐degenerate, and isolated level; monochromatic and non‐monochromatic irradiation. Attention is called to peculiar intensity distributions of the secondary radiation obtainable by sufficiently monochromatic excitation in near resonance to an isolated state (resonance fluorescence case) which deviate characteristically from those customary in traditional fluorescence and scatterin

AbstractThe five external vibrational modes of h4‐urea and of d4‐urea active in Raman scattering have been measured at room temperature and at 100K. It is shown that theA1mode has a frequency close to 100 cm−1at room temperature. It has been possible to interpret the angular dispersion of one of the external polar modes by the dynamical matrix, which has also enabled us to calculate the permanent dipole moment of the molecule of urea. 摘要:
AbstractInfrared and Raman spectra of polycrystallines‐triazine ands‐triazine‐d3have been recorded over a wide range of temperatures. The spectra of the high temperature phase are in agreement with predictions based on the reportedD3d6rhombohedral crystal structure. The spectra of the low temperature monoclinic phase are compatible with a unit cell of symmetryC2hwith two molecules in Csor C2sites. Possible space groups areC2hi;i=1,2,3,4, or 6. The higher order nature of the rhombohedral to monoclinic phase transition is indicated by the gradual increase in splitting of degenerate modes in the infrared and Raman spectra of both C3N3H3and C3N3D3as the temperature was lowered. From studies of these splittings up to the phase change, the transition temperature was found to be 200±5K for C3N3H3and 190±5K for
