摘要:
AbstractThe three ν(CH or CD) fundamentals of pyrazole‐D0(1a) of its deuterated NH species, −4‐D1(2a), −3,5‐D2(3a), −3,4,5‐D3(4a), and ND species, −1‐D1(1b), −1,4‐D2(2b), −1,3,5‐D3(3b), ‐D4(4b), were obtained by Raman spectroscopy. Each a, b couple (i.e. 1a, 1b, etc.) gives identical ν(CH or CD) bands. One band originates essentially in the stretching of the atom (H or D) in position 4. Two other bands originate essentially in the stretching movements of the atoms in positions 3 and 5. The relation of infrared to Raman intensity, the relative intensity of bands in infrared, the relative position of bands, the application of isotropic rules and the determination of mode anharmonicity constants provide aC2ν‐like image

AbstractThe fundamental vibrational modes of the halate ions as solid solutions in NaClO3and NaBrO3lattices have been studied by laser Raman spectroscopy, both at room and at low (80 K) temperature. The four predicted modes have all been observed and assigned for each halate ion. The local symmetry of the doping ions in the host lattices at both temperatures is discussed.

AbstractThe Raman spectra of the three reported phases of zinc chloride are reported. In addition, a new high temperature phase is spectroscopically identified. The spectrum of phase IV is completely assigned. The spectrum of phase II indicates spatial disorder, while those of phases I and III are compatible with completely ordered structures.

AbstractThe vapor phase Raman spectrum of perchloryl fluoride has been observed under higher resolution and sensitivity conditions than reported previously, and a temperature study has been carried out for the bands due to the totally symmetric modes. A method has been developed to extract the band due to a single isotopic species from the observed spectrum of a mixture of two isotopic species and applied to the present case. The remaining hot band structure is discussed.

AbstractUsing Raman spectroscopy we have investigated the effect of pressure on the association between the thiocyanate ion and some metallic cations: Zn2 +, Mn2 +, Al3 +, In3 +, Th4 +, Hg2 +. The ν(CS) stretching vibration of the anion has been analysed because of its sensitivity to the complexation; new ν(CS) lines appear at frequencies well distinct from that of the free ν(CS). The quantity of free SCN−has been determined from the intensity of the free ν(CS) line and has been used to calculate the formation constants for the equilibria Mx ++nSCN−⇄M(SCN) n(x‐n) +. Values have been obtained at normal pressure and at 3000 atmospheres. Finally, the mean value of the change of the partial molal volume ΔVfor the complexation reaction between the two extreme pressures has been calculated. The dissociation of the complexes is generally favoured by an increase of the pressure, and the ΔVvalues are positive. We think that the largest measured values of ΔVare due to a change of the coordination number of the cation

AbstractRaman spectra of NH4ReO4and ND4ReO4have been recorded at several temperatures between 77 K and 353 K. As the temperature is increased, several bands due to both internal and external modes of the perrhenate ion are shifted to lower wavenumbers and there is a discontinuity in the slope of the wavenumber versus temperature curves near 200 K. This behaviour is correlated with recent NQR and X‐ray diffraction results and supports the suggestion of a higher order phase transition near 200 K. The bands due to the ammonium ion vibrations are broadened as the temperature is increased and the librational lattice mode is no longer observable above about 200 K. The nature of the motion of the ammonium ion in the lattice is discussed and it is pointed out that the presence of a librational lattice mode does not necessarily indicate an absence of reorientational motio
