AbstractMit dem Ziel, Reproduzierbarkeit und Richtigkeit der Röntgenfluoreszenzmethode zur Bestimmung des Gesamtglucosinolatgehaltes in Rapssamen zu quantifizieren, wurde eine Ringuntersuchung in 3 Laboren an 24 Rapsproben durchgeführt. Die Untersuchung erbrachte die folgenden Ergebnisse: für die Wiederholbarkeit (r) wurde ein Wert von durchschnittlich 1.6 μmol/g bestimmt, die Vergleichbarkeit (R) betrug im Mittel 4 μmol/g, die Korrelation zwischen den Werten von RFA‐Methode und HPLC lag bei 0.98, die Richtigkeitsstandardabweichung 4 μmol/g; nach Durchführung einer rechnerischen Korrektur der Ergebnisse der RFA‐Methode auf den „normalen”︁ Rohproteingehalt von 22% betrug die Korrelation 0.992 und die Richtigkeitsstandardabwei

AbstractA two‐factorial study in which different types of fat (beef tallow, fish oil, corn oil, linseed oil) at an equal proportion of 12% but with varied α‐tocopheryl acetate additions (A: 80 mg/B: 500 mg/kg diet) were fed, was carried out with 200 carp (Cyprinus carpioL.). The carp in the control groups received a 12% greater hydratable cornstarch proportion instead of the fat addition. A total of 26 fatty acids were determined, of which the decanoic, docosanoic and cis‐11‐octadecenoic acid were demonstrated for the first time in carp. The different fat or carbohydrate additions influenced the fatty acid composition of the edible portion (muscle and skin) significantly. Analogous to the fat in the feed the greatest quantity of long‐chain, polyunsaturated fatty acids was found in the fish oil groups; feed groups with corn oil contained approximately 35% linoleic acid and feed groups with linseed oil approximately 32% linolenic acid (ω3). In contrast the groups with hydratable cornstarch and beef tallow were characterized by the high portion of oleic acid. The influence of the varied α‐tocopheryl acetate additions was small overall. By means of the two‐factorial variation of analysis, effects of the treatment was only shown for a few fatty acids (14: 0,18: 1ω7,20: 1ω9). On the basis of the resulting interactions between fat type and α‐tocopheryl acetate addition, ist was indicated that predominantly for the more highly unsaturated fatty acids of the ω3 and ω6 series, the fatty acid pattern was not totally independent of the α‐tocopheryl a

AbstractThe solidification properties of commercially refined and bleached sal fats have been investigated. The inconsistency in their solidification behaviour has been shown to be due to the presence of minor components namely the triglycerides containing 9,10‐dihydroxystearic acid (DHS‐TGs) and diglycerides (DGs). The effect of DGs individually and in combination with DHS‐TGs on the solidification properties of purified normal triglycerides (TGs) of sal fat has shown that DGs increased the α‐lifetime of the crystals, delayed the crystallization, reduced heats of fusion and reduced solid fat indices of TGs at all temperatures. The effect of DGs could be counteracted by DHS‐TGs the effect of which was opposite to that of DGs. When DGs and DHS‐TGs incorporated together, in equal concentrations the effect of DHS‐TGs was more perceptible. When the proportion of DGs was more than that of DHS‐TGs, the effect of DGs was discernable particularly on the cooling curve. AbstractMethyl esters of undecenoic, oleic, erucic, linoleic, gorlic, ricinoleic, 12‐hydroxystearic, 9,10‐dihydroxystearic, 12‐ketostearic and 9,10‐epoxystearic acids were reduced to alcohols by refluxing with sodium borohydride in t‐butanol‐methanol. The products were found by chromatographic and spectral techniques to consist of mainly alcohols and small quantities of unreduced esters. Methyl undecenoate and gorlate also yielded minor proportions of corresponding wax esters. Olefinic unsaturation was not affected. Keto and epoxy groups were reduced faster than ester groups, hydroxy esters faster than nonhydroxy esters and shorter‐chain esters faster than longer

AbstractIn der chemischen, pharmazeutischen und petrochemischen Industrie sowie in der Nahrungsmittelindustrie finden Stoffaustauschvorgänge häufig in hochviskosen Medien statt, wobei zahlreich vorkommende Gemische jedoch ein nichtnewtonsches Verhalten aufweisen. Um die Kenntnis der Stoffaustauschvorgänge in newtonschen und nichtnewtonschen Gemischen zu verbessern, wurden systematische Versuche zur Fluiddynamik und zum Stoffübergang an einzelnen Siebböden durchgeführt. Aufgrund der bisher erzielten Ergebnisse durch Untersuchungen an mittel‐ bis hochviskosen newtonschen Gemischen konnten konkrete Angaben bezüglich der Auswahl der Betriebsparameter sowie der Siebbodengeometrie zur Erhöhung der Trennleistung von Bodenkolonnen gemacht werden. Gegenstand der Arbeit ist an Hand von Absorptionsversuchen von Luftsauerstoff in Wasser und in Carboxylmethylcellulose sowie Polyacrylamid‐Wasser‐Gemischen bei Variation der Betriebsparameter und der Siebbodengeometrie eine Untersuchung der Fragestellung, inwieweit sich die erzielten Ergebnisse auf niedrigviskose sowie nicht newtonsche Gemische übertragen lassen. Neben den Messungen wurden Korrelationen zur Berechnung des Stoffaustauschs in mittel‐ bis hochviskosen Gemischen auf Siebb

AbstractInteresterification of fungal oil was carried out using sodium methoxide as catalyst. In this case intramolecular rearrangement of fatty acids in the triglyceride molecule gives rise to a randomized mixture leading to a new fat which is rich in saturated glycerides.

AbstractDie Analyse des Betriebs einer Mehr‐Körper‐Verdampfstation für Glycerinwasser wurde mittels Bilanzrechnungen aus gemessenen Daten vorgenommen.
