摘要:
Current sheets generated in pulsed plasma accelerators propagate into a cold gas with zero initial conductivity. These sheets can possess a steady, one‐dimensional structure only if the conductivity of the fluid behind the sheet is also zero.

摘要:
The plasma distribution in a coaxial accelerator has been studied using a modified fluid dynamics computing technique. The findings lead to an alternative interpretation of the distribution than that deduced by Lovberg from schlieren photographs.
