The structure of shock waves in slightly ionized high electron temperature plasmas is found to be appreciably modified by diffusive broadening induced by electrical coupling of the ions with the hot electrons.

摘要:
The analysis of the generation of vorticity by waves in a neutral gas is extended to the case of a plasma. It is shown that waves can interact with a plasma in a uniform magnetic field to generate vorticity.
