The finite gyroradius fluid equations of Rosenbluth and Simon are derived from guiding‐center theory with finite gyroradius corrections. This derivation is simpler and physically more transparent than the original derivation.

摘要:
The current sheath dynamics deduced from a two‐dimensional axisymmetric snowplough model fits well with what is photographically observed on a noncylindrical Z‐pinch experiment. Relative agreement is found between computed and measured electrical quantities.
