摘要:
The ion‐acoustic dispersion relation for a two‐component plasma, calculated in the presence of intercomponent energy transfer but in the absence of ion‐acoustic losses, exhibits amplification in this mode if the election gas is assumed to behave isothermally.

摘要:
At large longitudinal magnetic fields the positive column assumes a turbulent state due to helical instability. The correlation of potential fluctuation and current fluctuation at two probes as function of the distance and the density profile have been measured.

摘要:
A functional equation for a weak plasma turbulence is solved neglecting the three‐point correlation function. Its solution is a generalized Gaussian distribution. The solution for a quasilinear theory is obtained by an assumption similar to Bogoliubov's on nonequilibrium statistical mechanics.
