摘要:
Coscinoderma sporadensesp.n. is described from shallow waters in the North Aegean. This is the first record of aCoscinodermaspecies from the Mediterranean. The new species is compared to the deep water East AtlanticCoscinoderma confragosumPoléjaeff, 1884, and clear differences between them are established. The status of the genusCoscinodermais discussed

摘要:
A new pennatulacean species,Crassophyllum thessalonicaesp.n. is described from the Mediterranean (North Aegean Sea). This is the first record of aCrassophyllumTixier‐Duri vault, 1961 species from the Mediterranean Sea. The differences between the new species and C.cristatumTixier‐Durivault, 1961, the other known species of the genus, are discussed, and the genusCrassophyllumis critically compared with the other two related generaPteroeidesHerklots, 1858 andSarcoptilusGray, 1

摘要:
Zeylanurotrema speareisp.n. is described from the urinary bladder of the introduced cane toad,Bufo marinus, from North Queensland, Australia. The other species inZeylanurotrema, Z.lyriocephali, has been recorded only from an agamid lizard from Sri Lanka. The new species has differently arranged gut caeca, vitelline follicles and ovary as compared withZ. lyriocephali. Z. speareihas a Laurer's canal that does not open to the exterior but which forms a glandular Juel's organ. We suggest thatZ. speareiis an Australian species that has been acquired by the cane toad from a native host. In juvenile specimens ofZ. speareia persistent microcercous tail is present. From this and the anatomy of the adult we conclude thatZeylanurotremais a brachylaimid rather than a urotrcmatid as originally proposed. A new subfamily, the Zeylanurotrematinae, is proposed to accommodateZeylanurotrema.

摘要:
Two new, closely related species of the genusAckaeta, A. urbana sp.n.andA. microcosmi sp.n., (Enchytraeidae, Oligochaeta) from meadow and pasture soils of Berlin and Frankfurt (Germany) are described. Both show the same form and length/width ratio of the seminal funnel and the same general shape of the spermathecal system. They are distinguishable by distributions of epidermal sacs: only dorsal(A. microcosmi)or dorsal and ventral(A. urbana). Also the origin of the dorsal blood vessel is different.

摘要:
The taxon Lycodrilusphreodriloides Michaelsen, 1905 is fully described for the first time. It is now recognized as Baikalodrilus phreodriloides (Michaelsen) comb.n., a member of the Tubificidae. This is the last of the original Lycodrilus species to be reclassified.

摘要:
The phylogenetic relationships of the benthic phyllodocid genera are estimated by a parsimony analysis based on 26 morphological characters. It is concluded that the cephalization withinEteonehas led to a reduction of segment 1 and loss of the first pair of tentacular cirri. Biramous parapodia (like inAustrophyllumandNotophyllum) constitute an ancestral state, which has evolved independently also withinPhyllodoce. A new subfamily, Notophyllinae, is erected, and the two additional subfamilies, Phyllodocinae and Eteoninae, are redefined. Pareteoninae is treated as a junior synonym to Phyllodocinae, and Lugiinae as a nomendubium.A number of genera are redefined and new combinations introduced. Based on type materialZverlinumandPhyllouschakoviusare synonymized withPhyllodoce, NipponophyllumwithNotophyllym, VitiaziphyllumwithEumida, Pareteone, Eulalia (Euphylla)andCompsanaitiswithParanaitis.More tentatively proposed synonymizations includeBergstroemiawithAustrophyllum, ProphyllodocewithPhyllodoce, andPseudeulaliawithProtomystides. Eulalia lapsusis proposed as a replacement name forE. anoculataFauchald, 1972, junior homonym toE. anoculataHartman&Fauchald, 1971, and a number of species are synonymized and new combinations introduced. A checklist of phyllodocids together with information on the location of their type specimens is included.

摘要:
Scyphoproctus somalus(Polychaeta, Capitellidae) was discovered on sandbars on the north eastern side of Heron Island, Queensland.Scyphoproctus towraiensissp.n. with similar morphological characters to S.somalushad been collected from Towra Point, Botany Bay, New South Wales. Fresh samples of both species were investigated using a number of techniques which have not been commonly used in capitellid taxonomy. Scanning electron microscopy was employed to examine the hood ornamentation of the abdominal hooded hooks, with a view to mapping the distribution of the various patterns seen along the length of the body. Several other genera were also examined for variations in setal morphology. Statistical studies of the setae showed that the setal characters tested were directly related to the size of the animal, but did not contribute to the separation of the two species. Allozyme electrophoresis differentiated between the two species ofScyphoproctusfor a number of enzymes.

摘要:
A new genus,Mandobiusgen.n, containing a new species,M. regalissp.n., is associated with the coralPectinia lactucain New Caledonia. The new copepod differs conspicuously from the allied genusParamolgusin having only one seta on the first segment of the first antenna, in the formula 1,11,3 for the third segment of the endopodite of leg 1, and in the formula 11,1,5 for the third segment of the exopodite of leg 4.

摘要:
The genusPhyllhermanniaBerlese, 1916 is redefined. Two main groups of species are postulated within the genus, each being further divided into two subgroups. Known species reviewed completely or in part are:P. dentata, P. bimaculata, P. mollisandP. pulcher. New distribution records are given for the New Zealand speciesP. foliata, P. forsteri, P. mollis, P. phyllophoraandP. rubra, together with a distribution map of all species. Some biogeographical comments are included for the genus.P. africanaBalogh, 1958 is redescribed and a new species,P. collofisp.n., is established. A key to the species of the world is provided.
