摘要:
Four new species of the genusMinonaMarcus, 1946 from eastern Australia are described.Minona proculvaginatasp. n.,M. australissp. n. andM. concharumsp. n. have four genital pores, and differ in details of the copulatory organs. The epidermis of these three species is unciliated in a ventral area around the male pore. Based on this synapomorphic feature, they are sister species. The karyotype ofM. proculvaginataandM. concharumis described.Minona heronensissp. n. is distinct from congeneric species on the basis of the size of its accessory stylet and copulatory organ, pore indices and karyotype. It is compared to numerous similar Indo‐Pacific species. Additional data on the anatomy and karyology ofM. beagleiMartens&Curini‐Galletti, 1989 from N. Australia, are given. One specimen from Heron Island is tentatively attributed toM. dolichovesiculuTajika, 1982 a species widely distributed in the Indo‐Pacific. Its karyotype is

摘要:
Five species of diplectanids are described or redescribed on the basis of sclerotised parts, from a survey of 26 species of Sillaginidae in the Indo‐west Pacific.Diplectanum sillagonumTripathi is widespread, and is recorded onSillago sihamafrom tropical Australia north to Hong Kong and west to India, as well as onS. vincenti(in India) andS. attenuata(Persian Gulf).Diplectanum blairenseGupta&Khanna infectsS. sihamaandS. indicaand is sympatric withD. sillagonumover some of its range (Hong Kong to India and south to Bali).Diplectanum flagritubusNagibina is synonymised withD. blairense. Diplectanum purienseTripathi is redescribed fromS. chondropusin western Thailand, but was not found on specimens of its type host,Sillaginopsis panijusfrom the Bay of Bengal.Monoplectanum youngisp. n. is described fromSillago analis, S. ciliata, S. sihama, S. parvisquamis, S. luteaandS. attenuataand is more widespread thanD. sillagonum, extending into subtropical waters in Australia.Monoplectanum australeYoung infectsS. maculataandS. burrus, and appears to be endemic to Australia. The diagnosis ofMonoplectanum, until now monotypic, is emended, the genus is unlikely to contain more new species on sillaginid fishes, and its two species probably share a common ancestor withD. blairense.Parasitological evidence favours a close relationship between Sillaginidae and Sciaenida

摘要:
Vema levinaeWarén, sp. n. is described from a submarine volcano off western Mexico. The type species ofRokopellaandVeleropilinaare redescribed, the usage of the names is discussed andRokopellaandVeleropilinaare recognized as valid genera in Neopilinidae.Rokopella euglypta(Dautzenberg&Fischer, 1897) is redescribed from shells and a single live specimen taken from seamounts south of the Azores, from a depth of 1200–1600 m.Tectura reticulataSeguenza, 1876 (Gastropoda, ‘Acmaeidae’, southern Italy, Upper Pliocene/Lower Pleistocene) is considered to have been based on the monoplacophoran species previously known asNeopilina zografifrom the Mediterranean, and is classified in the genusVeleropilina. Veleropilina zografi(Dautzenberg&Fischer, 1896) is redescribed based on shells from several seamounts south of the Azores. It is considered distinct fromRokopella euglyptaand classified in the genusVeleropilina. An undescribed species ofVeleropilinafrom a seamount off southern Baja California is reported, figured and discussed but not formally des

摘要:
Evidence is presented that the generaHedypsilusSimon, 1893 and Modisimus Simon, 1893 are subjective synonyms. Precedence is given to Modisimus overHedypsilus. The type species of both genera (M. glaucusSimon, 1893 andH. culicinusSimon, 1893) are redescribed.Hedypsilus lawrenceiLessert, 1938 is synonymized withHedypsilus culicinusSimon, 1893. It appears to be a pantropical, synanthropic species. Preliminary notes on its natural history are presented. Two closely related new species are described,Modisimus simonisp. n. (Venezuela) andModisimus davidsp. n. (Central America).Modisimus globosusSchmidt, 1956 (Colombia?) is redescribed and illustrated for the first time. Notes on the usefulness of the curvature of eye rows and of leg formulae for the systematics of pholcids are given.

摘要:
The spider genusDysderahas undergone an extraordinary species radiation in the Canary Islands. As a first step towards the recovery of the endemic species phylogeny and the study of the evolutionary processes underlying its diversification, an exhaustive taxonomical work is required. The present paper deals with the endemic species that inhabit the western Canaries: La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro. Four new species are described:Dysdera enghoffisp. n.,D. hirguansp. n.,D. orahansp. n. andD. ramblaesp. n. Three new synonymies are reported:D. palmensisSchmidt, 1982 =D. crocotaKoch, 1839,D. multipilosaWunderlich, 1991 =D. levipesWunderlich, 1987 andD. silvaticaSchmidt, 1981 =D. rugichelisSimon, 1907. Four species are redescribed:D. calderensisWunderlich, 1991D. clavisetaeWunderlich, 1991D. levipesWunderlich, 1987 andD. rugichelisSimon, 1907 for which a neotype is designated. The presence on the western islands of the formerly described speciesD. insulanaSimon, 1883,D. macraSimon, 1883 andD. nesiotesSimon, 1907 are considered to be doubtful. The citation ofD. cribellataSimon, 1883 in La Palma (Simon, 1907) was based on a mis‐identification. The speciesD. gomerensisStrand, 1911 is designated as anomen dubium.Morphological affinities as well as ecology and distribution of the species are discusse
