摘要:
A method based on topological analysis is introduced to evaluate the transfer function of a linear Active networks, Linear network analysis, Network topology, Transfer functionsactive network. The function obtained is in quasisymbolic form, and the analysis deals with networks containing passive elements plus norator-nullator pairs.

摘要:
A system criterion is given for a real rationaln×nmatrixS(p) to beJlossless for a givenJ, i.e.J-S∼*(p)JS(p)≥ 0 in Rep> 0 andJ-S∼(-p)JS(p) = 0 whereJ=J∼andJ2=In. This algebraic property is then applied to the synthesis of lossless-chain and chain-scattering matrices and to stable transfer-matrix functions by cascade load and cascade networks using the minimum number of reactive elements.

摘要:
By using the concept of the generalised-immittance convertor, new 2nd-order digital-filter sections are developed. These are then used as building blocks in a cascade synthesis. The proposed synthesis yields lowpass, highpass and bandstop filters with improved inband signal/noise ratio relative to that in conventional cascade filters. In addition, it yields low-noise and economical digital equalisers.

摘要:
The problem of designing a class of m.t.i. filters without the knowledge of the actual shape of the clutter power spectral-density function is considered. The problem is formulated in an appropriate signal space selected for an efficient representation of the clutter signals of specified bandwidth. The optimum transversal filter-weight vector is then chosen to be orthogonal to this space. The approach is shown to yield a min-max filter in a sense to be defined in the paper. The worst-case performance of these filters is analysedand compared with statistically optimum designs used in some other recent papers.
