摘要:
We Gonsider a class of nonlinear cone constrained optimization problems depending on a parameter. Under the assumption of a constraint qualification, a second order sufficient optimality condition and a stability condition for the Lagrange multipliers it is shown, that for sufficiently smooth perturbations of the constraints and the objective function the optimal solutions obey a type of Lipschitz condition.

In this paper we study a problem of parameter estimation in two point boundary value problems. Using a stability theorem for nonlinear cone constrained optimization problems derived in Part 1 of this paper we investigate stability properties of the solutions of the parameter estimation problem in the output-least-squares formulation.

In this paper, we consider the numerical solvability of nonlinear integral equations of Hammerstein type on the half lineWe study the convergence analysis of the approximate solutions of the above equations in two parts, first with non-convolution kernel and then with convolution kernel. We make use of recently developed linear theory due to Anselone and Sloan [2,3,4] and Chandler and Graham [9J for this purpose.

The continuity and differentiability for integral operator in Banach spaces are proved with respect to Lp–topology. The weak normal integrand is defined, so that a generalized measurable selection theorem is derived, and the conjugate functional for integral functional is formulated. The duality theorem of optimization problem for integral functional is established by using the conjugate functional.

Given a closed convex cone of approximants in a strictly convex reflexive Banach space we give an implementable, iterative algorithm for finding the best approximation for a point outside this cone. First the necessary duality theorems are proved and then the characterizations of the best approximations are given. Convergence of the algorithm is then proved. Some numerical results are also included.

We define four types of invexity for Lipschitz vector-valued mappings fromRptoRqthat generalize previous definitions of invexity in the differentiable setting. After establishing relationships between the various definitions, we show the importance of the concept of nonsmooth invexity in the field of optimization. In particular, we obtain conditions sufficient for optimality in unconstrained and cone-constrained nondifferentiable programming that are weaker than previous conditions presented in the literature; we also obtain weak and strong duality results.

摘要:
The reaction-diffusion equations are approximated by a fully discrete system: a Legendre-Galerkin approximation for the space variables and a semi-implicit scheme for the time integration. The stability and the convergence of the fully discrete system are established. It is also shown that, under a restriction on the space dimension and the growth rate of the nonlinear term, the approximate attractors of the discrete finite dimensional dynamical systems converge to the attractor of the original infinite dimensional dynamical systems. An error estimate of optimal order is derived as well without any further regularity assumption.
