摘要:
The paper is devoted to the investigation of multiplicity and evolution of multiplicity in the course of life of electron-hole pairs in the films of poly-N-epoxypropylcarbazole, containing the CT-complexes, the compounds with intramolecular charge transfer as the electron-hole pair photogeneration centres. The main results were obtained from the analysis of the effects of external magnetic and electric field influence on photoconductivity.

摘要:
Processes of charge carrier photogeneration and recombination are investigated in films of poly-N-epoxypropylmbarbazole (PEPC) doped with polymethine dyes. It is presumed, that the cause of growing the recombination luminescence intensity in external electric field is connected with increase of efficiency of radiative recombination stimulated by captured electrons from photogenerated excitons.

Light emitting diodes consisting of molecular-doped polymeric LB films with alternating electron-transport and hole-transport emitting layers are first described. Electroluminescent cells were prepared using standard ITO and Mg/Ag electrodes. PMMA/PBD (1:3) composition was used to form the electron-transport layers (I). The hole-transport one (II) was formed from PVK/TPB (3% mol.). Three cell types have been studied. Two of them had the same structure ITO/II(50 nm)/I(50 nm)/Mg/Ag but were prepared using different methods: spin-coating and LB technique. The third cell type had a multilayer LB structure: ITO/I(10 nm)/II(4 nm)/I(10 nm)/II(4 nm)/I(4 nm)/II(10 nm)/Mg/Ag. Considerable distinctions were observed in electroluminescence spectra of spin-coated and LB structures. Possible reasons for those distinctions are discussed. The multilayer LB structure was one decimal order more stable in air than the bilayer one.

摘要:
Photoluminescence spectra of thin films (free and on (001) surface of NaCl wafer) of fullerite C60are studied at 5 K. Film structures were analyzed by standard transmission high energy electron diffraction (THEED) technique. Influence of film structure and substrate on luminescence spectra was observed. It is assumed that the decay of Frenkel excitons on grains boundaries in nanodispersive films competes with energy transport to X-traps and the intensity of excited X-traps photoluminescence strongly decrease. It is supposed that this effect is revealed when a singlet exciton diffusion length is comparable with grains sizes.

摘要:
The low-temperature thermally stimulated luminescence (TSL) has been applied for probing the energetic disorder of localized states in poly(methyl-phenylsilylene) (PMPSi). Interpretation of TSL as associated with charge carrier thermal release from intrinsic tail states and based on the Gaussian disorder model is suggested. The analysis the shape of the high-temperature wing of the TSL peak yields the half-width of the density of states (DOS) profile that agrees with energetic disorder parameter determined from the post-transient part of the transient photocurrent. The activation energy in TSL peak maximum is in accord with predictions of the theory for non-activated energetic relaxation of charge-carriers within a manifold of localized states and, therefore, no special features of the DOS in the gap are necessary for the explanation of the existence of the TSL peak The effect of polar additives as dinitrobenzenes is explained in terms of dipolar disorder model.

摘要:
The charge-carrier traps in the neat carbazole crystal have been found and were interpreted as dipole traps formed by the intrinsic orientational crystalline defects appearing when a molecule is rotated by 180° along the long in-plane axis as compared to the bulk molecules. The depths of trapping states established on the neighboring molecules of crystal in the vicinity of one, two and tree reoriented molecules was calculated. Energetic spectrum of dipole traps was studied by fractional thermoluminescence and the experimental results are in good agreement with calculation.

The Dichromated Gelatin (DCG) known as medium for the phase holograms registration and production of special planographic printing plates as well as the solutions of dichromates in alcohols have been studied for chromium compound reactions and phase-conformational transformations of denatured collagen molecules in their own polymer matrix. One- and multielectron transfer schemes are discussed as well as the delocalization of an electron along the macromolecular chains and polypeptide fragments and phase conformational changes in them.

摘要:
The magnetic field influence on the elastic and inelastic inter-electrode electron tunneling mediated by a molecular wire is studied theoretically. The wire is supposed to include two paramagnetic ions which should be largely separatel in space and should reduce their electronic ground-state spin fromStoS− ½ during the formation of an intermediate bound state with the tunneling electron. A field-induced spin polarization of the outgoing low-temperature tunnel current is demonstrated. In the presence of a single-ion anisotropy, a step-like behavior of the current is obtained. Finally, for the inelastic inter-electrode tunneling, a blocking of the tunnel current appears.
