摘要:
The crystals of several derivatives ofN-salicylideneaniline which contain NHO hydrogen bonds in the molecule show thermochromism. To investigate the relation between the thermochromism and the proton transfer in the hydrogen bond, the proton dynamics of remarkably thermochromic crystal of BSP was precisely studied by solid state NMR method. The behavior of proton dynamics is good consistent with the temperature dependence of visible absorption spectra of this crystal. This result indicates that the thermochromism of this material is a prototype of “proton-electron cooperation”. The transfer rate of proton in the NHO hydrogen bond was strongly affected by some chemical modifications,e.g.the fast tunneling in one case.

摘要:
The spectra of polarized reflectivity and excitation of photoconductivity of β-DTPP crystal have been measured. Highly efficient photoconductivities were observed along the both directions of the stacking of the molecules and the intermolecular H-bond. These excitation spectra are considerably different and depend on the direction of applied electric field. These photoconducting properties are discussed in terms of charge transfer interaction along stacking axis and the electron-proton interactions.

Persistent spectral hole burning properties of ten kinds of hydroxyanthraquinone derivatives are investigated. Sodium-hydride and potassium-mercury ternary graphite intercalation compounds are isostructural compounds where a hydrogen/mercury atomic layer is sandwiched between double alkali-metal layers in graphitic galleries. 摘要:
We have examined pressure effect on the self-trapped states of the amide-I vibrational mode(N‒C˭O stretching) in crystalline acetanilide (C6H5NHCOCH3) by means of Raman spectroscopy. The pressure dependences of the spectral position and intensity are interpreted by taking into account the changes in both inter-molecular forces and intrachain dipolar couplings. In addition, a new self-trapped state is observed upon cooling in hydrostatic pressure above ∼ 2 GPa.

摘要:
Nine benzene derivatives substituted with at least one long alkyl chain in common and with various terminally hydroxylated groups have been prepared. Thermotropic meso-phases were observed in seven compounds and the hydrogen bonding of the alcoholic OH groups seems to be responsible for this behavior of novel one-ring mesogens. The X-ray diffraction patterns are consistent with a common structural model involving bimolecular layers of hydrogen bonding network separated by fully interdigitated alkyl chains.
