摘要:
A water activated switch using a capacitance transducer as one element of an RC phase shift oscillator is described. When water enters a sensing chamber, its electrical capacitance increases, driving the circuit into oscillation. The oscillations are detected and used to trigger an external circuit. Designed around a micropowered integrated circuit, the special advantages of this system are low standby current and freedom from false triggering caused by water spray or mist. The device works equally well for salt or fresh water.

摘要:
This Note describes a bonding method for the joining of targets used for rf sputtering to target holders. The use of a low vapor pressure, low melting point bonding medium results in a strong, reliable bond applicable to a wide range of materials.
