摘要:
The present status of the Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory of the Institute for Solid‐State Physics of The University of Tokyo is described. Explanation is made mostly for the beam lines of SOR‐RING as well as the new beam lines built in the Photon Factory ring. A short history of the laboratory is also given.

摘要:
Two intersecting storage rings (8 GeV, 1 A and 3.5 GeV, 2 A) have been proposed to be built at Cornell University to enhance both the production ofBmesons and synchrotron radiation. Exceedingly high x‐ray flux from 3‐m long undulators will be the new feature of aBfactory for the CHESS laboratory. The flux produced integrated over the central cone of radiation can be as much as an order of magnitude higher than from the third‐generation storage rings (now under construction) operating at 0.1 A.

摘要:
This facility report describes the Synchrotron Ultraviolet Radiation Facility (SURF II) operated by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Gaithersburg, Maryland. SURF II is a 300‐MeV electron storage ring which provides well characterized continuum radiation from the far infrared to the soft x‐ray region with the critical wavelength at 17.4 nm. Brief descriptions are given of the user facilities, the characteristics of the synchrotron radiation, the main storage ring, the injector system and each of the operating beam lines, and associated instruments. Further description is given of expansion plans for additional beam lines.

摘要:
The feasibility of constructing an intense VUV to x‐ray synchrotron light Kurchatov Institute. A status report is given on the SIBERIA. (AIP) source at the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) is being investigated. Under study is a machine design with very flexible parameters and which is capable of providing very low emittance and short pulse lengths.
