摘要:
The development of statistics and statistical organization as we know it today, in fact, did not grow in India overnight. It took more than a century to graduate to its present form but its history goes as far back as 300 BC, thus it will be difficult to present in detail in this short article. However, an attempt will be made to study the statistical development in ancient India and throught to the 19th century.
