摘要:
AbstractThe leaf essential oil ofArillastrum gummiferum(Brongriart&Gris) Pancher ex Baillon, obtained in 0.2‐0.3% w/w on a dry weight basis, consisted approximately 80% of (‐)‐limonene. Other monoterpene hydrocarbons, the principal members being α‐ and α‐pinene, accounted for approximately a further 9% of the oil. Caryophyllene (3‐7%) was the major sesquiter

摘要:
AbstractStudies on the chemical composition of the essential oil from leaves of selectedEucalyptus globulusLabill. ssp.globulustrees have been undertaken. The hydrodistilled samples were analysed by GLC and GC‐MS. Fifty‐three oil components have been identified; 1,8‐cineole, α‐pinene, limonene, aromadendrene, δ‐cadinene, and globulol were the most abundant compounds, representing 93% of th

摘要:
AbstractThe volatile constituents of the white flowers ofExacum affineBalf. f. cv. “Blithe Spirit” (Gentianaceae) have been examined by dynamic headspace sampling and as the essential oil using GC‐FID, GC‐FTIR‐MS and a GC‐sniffing technique. The flowers and headspace concentrate possess a characteristic lily‐of‐the‐valley‐like, fresh, green, beautiful floral odour while the essential oil shows only a weak lily‐of‐the‐valley‐like odour with earthy and vegetable notes. Forty‐two compounds were identified (excluding fatty acids and fatty acid derivatives). The major components of the headspace concentrate were limonene, α‐pinene and camphor (together 34.7% of the headspace concentrate). The same compounds ma

摘要:
AbstractThe volatiles of white hyacinths were isolated by dynamic headspace trapping. More than 70 constituents could be identified by GC and GC‐MS. The principal constituents were benzyl acetate and (E,E)‐α‐farnesene. Beside these, sensorily important substances like indole, oct‐1‐en‐3‐ol and phenylacetaldehyde were identified. Minor traces of three substituted pyrazines could be detected by GC‐sniffing. The advantages of the simultaneous “closed‐loop stripping” technique using various adsorbing agents at the same time were demonstrated. By this means artefact formation and discrimination of individual componen

AbstractThe composition of the essential oil isolated from inflorescences ofNepeta tuberosaL. ssp.tuberosawas analysed by GC and GC‐MS. The oil consisted mainly of monoterpenes (89%), 5,9‐dehydronepetalactone (69%) and geranyl acetate (17%) being the main components. The sesquiterpene fraction amounted to 8% and was dominated by α‐caryophyllen

AbstractThe essential oil (average yield 4%) isolated by hydrodistillation from semi‐dried leaves ofOcimum kenienseAyobangira was analysed by GC and GC‐MS. A total of 22 compounds accounting for 86.8% were identified. 1,8‐Cineole (38%) and methyl chavicol (24%) were the major constituents. 摘要:
AbstractThe essential oil ofSantolina neapolitanaJordan et Fourr. (Asteraceae) was obtained by hydrodistillation from aerial parts of the plant, in a 0.30% (v/w) yield related to the dry weight. Forty‐one compounds were identified by GC‐MS; α‐pinene (15.5%), γ‐muurolene (31.9%) and borneol (9.4%) were the main components. Although practically the same compounds were found in the essential oils of otherSantolinaspecies, a different percentage composition was observed forS. neapolitana esse

摘要:
AbstractThe enantiomeric composition and relative quantity of piperitone in laboratory‐made essential oils and in essential oils and samples of piperitone from commercial sources were determined. High enantiomeric purities of (4R)(‐)‐piperitone were detected inMentha longifolia(L.) Huds. (Negev type) oil. The (4S)(+)‐enantiomer was detected in peppermint oils and inM. longifoliaL. Huds. (Yizre'el Valley) oil in a high enantiomeric ratio. The presence of (4R)(‐)‐piperitone in the oils of someMenthaspecies is contrary to the postulation that only the (4S)‐enatiomer occurs naturally in th
