摘要:
AbstractIn six cats the trunks of the third or fourth lumbar to the third sacral nerves were cut between the dorsal root ganglion and the gray ramus. Studies were made of serial sections of the nerve trunks with their intact gray rami, sections of the peripheral nerves, including most of the motor and sensory nerves of the posterior limb, and serial sections of the blood vessels. The latter were cut into segments and the serial sections made of each segment. IN addition, similar studies of a large number of normal vessels were made.

AbstractFibers from the upper opercular striate cortex pass to the following structures in the following order of abundance of association fibers: (a) Remainder of upper half of striate cortex including medially located portions. (b) Lower macular cortex. (c) Rest of striate cortex. (d) Posterior limb of the angular gyrus and middle annectant gyrus. (e) Caudal end of the posterior superior, parietal gyrus.

AbstractThe arterial blood supply of the brain of Amblystoma is essentially similar to that of other urodeles so far as these have been described and is comparable in most respects with that of Anura. Individual variations in the courses of even the major arteries are surprisingly great, and the courses of the veins are even more erratic.

AbstractA study of both the epibranchial and the lateral line placodes in forty‐six embryos of Gymnodactylus kotschyi was carried out with a fairly continuous series of embryos, ranging from the first day of incubation to hatching.
