摘要:
Hydrodenitrogenation of dilute solutions of North Gujarat Crude oil(an Indian Crude) has been carried out in a packed bed flow reactor. The reactions have been studied at a temperature range of 573K-723K and pressure 5.6 - 10.2 Mpa over commercial hydrotreating catalyst. From the analysis it was found that the denitrogenation rate is first order with respect to nitrogen concentration and the total pressure of the system.

摘要:
During the Strategic Highway Research Program, four asphalts were separated into polar and non-polar fractions by means of three different ion exchange chromatography procedures. For each asphalt, the non-polar neutral fractions comprised over 50 mass percent of the total asphalt. These neutral materials are much less viscous than corresponding whole asphalts. Molecular weights of the neutral fractions correlate roughly with viscosities, whereas there is no correlation between these properties for whole asphalts.

摘要:
Air dried and ground tea waste was subjected to supercritical and catalytic fluid extraction by using water or acetone as solvent at different temperatures. The most important reactions variables were temperature and ratio of catalyst to the solid sample. The yields of the catalytic fluid reaction have been increased from 70.3 % to 92.4 % as the temperature increased from 230 °C to 340 °C by using water as solvent. The yield of extract was obtained from non catalytic supercritical water extraction was about 50.0 % at380°C.

摘要:
In this article, the potential utilization of hazel nut shell as a combustible residue was studied. To obtain liquid and gaseous products, the hazel nut shell was subjected to pyrolysis and it was converted to 49.3 % (w) gaseous and 20.0 % (w) liquid products at 475 °C for 7.5 minutes in a simple pyrolysis device The kinetic model used in the present study was based on fractional weight loss for each pyrolysis step. The simple fast pyrolysis was compared with TGA technique.

摘要:
Resins, obtained by chromatographic separation on silica-gel as described in a previous work (Lanças and Caramão, 1992), were fractionated by acid/basic/neutral separation in modified silica gel (acidic and basic) and characterized by infrared and elemental analysis. Resins were the major components found in the preparative liquid chromatographic fractionation of coal tar, and, for this reason, we tried to fractionated them into simpler fractions with the purpose of identifying their constituents. Six distinct cuts of coal tar (A to F) are subject to fractionation into acid/basic/neutral fractions, with large amounts of neutral compounds being found. The percent of acids found varied from 21.0 to 36.5, and the percent of bases varied from 3.2 to 8.0. The characterization of the individual fractions, confirm the success of the fractionation of the resins.

摘要:
In this paper we show the total analysis of the hydrocarbon fractions obtained from the chromatographic fractionation of a coal tar cut, previously described. All fractions were analyzed by Gas Chromatography coupled to Mass Spectrometry using a non-polar capillary column. A group-type distribution of aliphatic, olefins and monoaromatic hydrocarbons was found in the first three fractions obtained (I, II and III). In fractions IV and V polyaromatics with two or more condensed rings were founded. Many of these hydrocarbons are recognized to be carcinogenic and mutagenic, including pyrene, chrysene and others.

摘要:
Two precipitates were obtained from original black liquor by using hydrochloric acid and carbon dioxide. The precipitates were liqufied and gasificated by non-catalytic and catalytic runs at gradually elevated temperatures. The amount of gaseous products increased with increasing temperature and percent of catalyst. The percent of hydrogen in the obtained gas mixture was the highest in potassium carbonate catalytic runs (37 %).

摘要:
The solubilities of three bitumen samples (Suncor, Syncrude and Lloydminster) in five solvents were examined and prediction on the various bitumen-solvent mixture viscosities were made with Cragoe equation. By calculating the Cragoe constant ‘a’ for each mixture and using the average value in the Cragoe equation the prediction accuracy of the equation was improved by over 60%. Bitumen-naphtha mixtures showed the best viscosity prediction characteristics.
