摘要:
Rural health care delivery is in the national spotlight as a legislative package is introduced in Congress that will eliminate the urban-rural differential on Medicare reimbursement. Rural health care executives are encouraged by this development, but are still worried that this latest initiative may come too late to save several rural hospitals from closing. HCMR's Associate Editor, Barbara P. McCool, discussed the future of rural health care delivery with five experts in this area—all of whom have demonstrated leadership in solving rural health care problems: Eugene C. Beck, Donald W. Dunn, Michael Funk, Donald M. Stewart, and Robert T. Van Hook.
