We solve the problem N7 from the paper by J. M. Anderson, J. Clunie and Ch. Pommerenke [1]. On the other hand, we state some new results about the coefficients of Bloch functions and prove a generalization of a theorem of K.-J. Wirths [2], using a new simpler method.

We consider the class of equationsare polynomials inz, not all constant. A solutionw≢ 0 of equation (*) is called a subnormal solution ifWe find the form of all subnormal solutions of equation (*). Our results generalize a result of Wittich for second order equations. Several examples are given.

Over the classSof normalized univalent functions in the unit disk, a variational method is used to find the maximum of |f(ζ|/Rffor fixed ζ in the unit disk and whereRfis the logarithmic capacity of the range off. The solution is given explicitly in terms of standard elliptic integrals and implications for other work are described.

We introduce a new way of measuring the mean oscillation of the boundary value of holomorphic function on the unit ball inand prove that it is equivalent to the mean oscillation of John and Nirenberg. As a consequence, we give a characterization of BMOA in terms of generalized Garcia norm. We also give a similar kind of characterizations of VMOA.

We define a class of linear operatorsL,L:Hp(E) →E, which are in a certain sense averages of the “boundary values”, and for a givenL, study the points of maximum of norm ‖Lf‖, whereflies on the unit sphere. In this paper we shall give 2-types of the general Schwarz lemma on a Kahler CH manifold. One is the Schwarz lemma on a Kähler CH manifold whose Ricci curvature is bounded below by a quadratic decaying function, and the other is by a quadratic growing function.

This paper investigates the relationship between the analyticity of a functionand its wavelet coefficientswhere, withand ϕ is a Meyer-type mother wavelet. It is shown that iffis analytic in a neighborhood of the real axis, then the wavelet coefficients must satisfy certain growth conditions. Conversely, a sufficient condition on the coefficients is given to ensure thatfis analytic in a neighborhood of the real line. Another sufficient condition on the coefficients is given which guarantees thatfis an entire function.
