摘要:
SummaryHerewith I report about a family line in which tetany manifestaion took place in 7 persons for a range of two generations. After a close study of literature concerned I made it certain that there are instances of tetany sprung up undoubtedly hereditarily, although they are rare. With these patients it came manifest on various occasions and at various places, as to make it hard to find out it a common exogenous causes. I dare to infer that it develops from tetanoid disposition directly inherited from either one of the parents. With regard to isolated tetany case I might infer that among various groups of tetany there are some surely attributable to the same hereditary disposition of tetanoid. However, isolated appearance and mode of manifestation always under influence of certain provocative agents must suggest that it stands under control of low penetrance and expression of hereditary factor. It is noteworthy that 2 out of 7 patients of this family line had a few recurrence of epileptic convulsion fits each in accentuation period of tetany. Not only these mentioned but also some other members of this family line had such nervous dysfunctions as infantile convulsion, asthma, fainting fit and urticarial rash. All these dysfunction forms came concomitant with tetany solely in the same family line of tetany, epileptiform seizure or epileptoid traits being totally missed in others than the tetany family line. Therefore, I might' infer once for all that epileptiform seizures come derived from tetanoid disposition and that various nervous dysfunctions denote in themselves an expression modus of tetanoid.
