摘要:
The XPS spectra of aluminum metaphosphate were collected with a VSW HA150 using monochromatic AlKαx-radiation. Monochromatic radiation provides a distinct clarity to the rich peak structure in the valence band of aluminum metaphosphate due to the absence of interfering x-ray satellites from the intense O2sregion. The valence band, survey, and the Al2s, Al2p, O1s, and C1score levels are reported. The valence band region of metaphosphate is significantly different from that of phosphate.

摘要:
Powder XRD definedα-AlF3has been investigated by XPS and XAES using the Au 4f7/2orbital for static charge referencing. This feature originates from well-defined and chemically inert 20 nm gold particles deposited in a highly dispersed pattern on the sample surface. The particles, with a sharp particle size distribution, were obtained from a highly purified colloidal solution (Na concentration below 1 mg/l−1). This procedure allows a determination of gold-referenced XPS and XAES data sets.
