摘要:
An efficient computer method for the analysis of switched-capacitor networks is presented. Computations of the frequency response and sensitivity analysis are feasible for 2-phase SC networks with ideal switches, capacitors, ideal op amps and any type of controlled source with constant gain. The discrete Fourier transform is used to obtain the polynomial coefficients of the network functions. The method used is based on a combination of the direct implemtation of equivalent circuits and the modified nodal analysis technique. The program is illustrated by two practical examples.

摘要:
There is an important classSof linear reciprocal passive networks ‘Schlicht’ that do not repeat their performance for any two distant frequencies. Resistive-capacitive networks (RC) and resistive-inductive networks (RL) consititute the nucleus of theSfamily[1]. Subsequent to a normalisation of the system function, it is shown that there exists an unattainable zone of energy performance F for all Schlicht networks. The point describing the active-reactive power of any normalised member ofScannot penetrate the boundary of the region F for any real frequency. This universal region is specified. The paper presents a new area of interaction between electrical engineering and mathematical function theory.

摘要:
A communication network is optimally connected if its graph is regular and is as invulnerable to disconnection by vertex removal as by line removal. It is shown how to construct optimally connected networks of arbitrary order and prescribed connectivity, with the novel feature that they are of maximum diameter.

摘要:
Lumped/distributed networks are analysed using state-space techniques. The state and output equations are derived using topological methods with no restrictions on the topology. The method is applied to noncommensurate circuits and to coupled transmission-line circuits in inhomogeneous media. Computer programs have been developed for the analysis of these circuits in both the frequency and time domains. The time response, for any set of inputs, is obtained without the need of either the explicit form of the transfer function or the use of convolution.

摘要:
A simplified approach for the design of low-noise bipolar preamplifiers for optical receivers is presented. Analytical solutions for optimum biasing and minimum equivalent input-noise current are derived. Experimental measurements on 100 MHz bandwidth preamplifiers are in good agreement with both analytical solution and CAD model analysis.

摘要:
A large amount of literature has been published during the last decade on the design of digital filter structures with desirable attributes, such as low round off noise, simple coefficients or ease of implementation. In this paper, the hardware implementation of a structure based on a classical doubly-terminated distributed filter prototype is discussed. This structure has a prarticularly simple form as it is a cascade of identical 1st-order networks. The paper describes a programmable logic design centred on a high-speed bipolar LSI multiplier chip. It is shown that a complete 6th degree wave digital filter with analogue I/O can be implemented on a single S-100 printed-circuit board, and further that the filter can operate at a maximum sampling rate of around 150 kHs. The filter coefficients can be change in the controll program which is also stored in PROM.
