AbstractPapillon‐Lefevre syndrome is a rare disorder of keratinization inherited as an autosomal recessive trait. It is characterized by thickening of palms and soles, perindonlopathia, tendency to pyogenic skin infections and sometimes mental impairment. The authors report Papillon‐Lefevre syndrome in two sisters in whom the familial pedigree shows the autosomal recessive inheritance of the trait. Two oilier important disorders of keratinization transmitted by an autosomal recessive gene. Richner‐Hanhart syndrome and Mal de Meleda, are excluded by clinical and metabolic criteria. Systemic therapy with etretinate and acitretin could not be performed because one of the patients has a hepatopathy and the other refuses the treatment. AbstractA case of acquired reactive perforating collagenosis in a 70‐year old man with a long standing digitate parapsoriasis is reported. Multiple asymptomatic cutaneous hyperpigmented papules with a central adherent keratotic plug developed simultaneously with widespread purpuric eruption following a single i.m. diclofenac injection. Histologic examination of a keratotic lesion revealed an epidermal crater with centrally degenerated collagen and elastic fibre extrusion. This case is interesting for the lack of pruritus, the transepithelial elimination of both collagen and elastic fibres and the association with parapsoriasis. AbstractThe case of a 65 year old patient with a cutaneous angiosarcoma of the head and facial skin is reported. In contrast to preceding chemo‐and radiation therapies which did not induce any tumor regression, our treatment with liposomal doxorubicin HCL (Doxil®) caused considerable tumor regression. This therapy had to be stopped because of accumulated toxic side effects after multiple chemotherapies. The therapy with liposomal doxorubicin is known to yield good results in the therapy of Aids‐related Kaposi's sarcoma and is usually well tolerated.
