摘要:
High depth resolution Rutherford backscattering-channelling has been employed to assess the depth of damage and the increase in total damage with increasing ion fluence over the range 1014-1016ions cm−2for 5 keV A+implants into Si conducted under low flux density and UHV conditions. It is shown that damage-depth estimates for zero fluence conditions are similar to theoretical predictions and that the increasing damaged (amorphised layer) depth with increasing fluence is the result of continuing damage accumulation deeper in the Si.

摘要:
The energy levels of the positron planar channeling radiations are calculated by the variational method with the orthonormal functions, where the Doyle-Turner potential is used as the positron-atom interaction. The calculated peak energies for silicon and germanium show good agreements with measured data, while those for diamond are larger by about 7% than observed energies.

摘要:
On the basis of our experimental results on the influence of radiation of different kinds on a number of crystals with ionic-covalent bonds and analysis of the well-known data, a criterion of radiation-induced structure transformation of a high-temperature type is proposed. It is the only type of complete structure change in irradiated nonmetallic material which is not caused by decomposition or amorphisation and following recrystallisation of initial compounds. It is also found that in a number of materials structure changes are caused by the radiation-induced point defects and not by the formation of high-temperature phase nuclei.

摘要:
A numerical experiment on the elastic scattering of relativistic electrons by a (100) W crystal surface is carried out in the frame of the binary collisions model. It is shown that the reflection coefficiennt can achieve a value of about 90% at low energies of electrons. The increase of electron beam energy E0, of the incidence angleψand the temperatureTof the crystal surface leads to a decrease of the reflection coefficient.

The possibilities of application of a relativistic nuclei accelerator in generating different types radiation during relativistic nuclei transmission through matter are discussed. It is shown that the radiation of relativistic nuclei can be used as a new monochromatic photon source in keV and MeV regions.

摘要:
The Lindhard atomic string model is used to study the surface semichanneling of atomic and molecular ions. A simple formula has been obtained which relates the semichannel focusing energy directly to the interatomic potential. Computer simulation has been carried out for molecular N2ions scattered by a Cu single crystal target. The orientations and rotational moments of molecules reflected from the target without dissociation are analyzed. A strong polarization of the semichanneled molecules under the optimal focusing conditions has been noted.

摘要:
The theory of gas bubble lattice that is formed under irradiation by light gas ions is developed. To explain the ordering, a new mechanism of bubble interaction is proposed which is based on the loop-punching from growing bubbles. The symmetry and alignment of the bubble lattice are explained, its stability criteria are derived and characteristic parameters are estimated.

摘要:
We investigate a new application of channeling radiation, namely to study the strained layer superlattices. The analysis shows that the channeling radiation peak frequencies as well as the line widths should decrease below the corresponding values for normal lattice. Moreover, the fractional decrease in line widths is found to be larger than the corresponding fractional decrease in the peak frequencies.
