摘要:
Transmission electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction has been employed to study the structure and phase composition modification in α-Ti layers under carbon recoil implantation. The presence of thin oxide film on the Ti surface has been shown to be very important factor for the structure change in the case of recoil implantation. The formation of high-temperature phase of TiO2(anatas) has been found.

摘要:
Analytical approximation formulas for τ and θ, valid for any exponentially screened Coulomb potential, are written down in terms of elementary functions. Comparison with exact numerical results for the “universal” potential shows an agreement within ± 3% for θ and ± 2% for τ over a wide range of energies and impact parameters.

摘要:
A model for calculation of helium stopping powers is developed which takes into account different charge fraction contributions. The neutral part contribution is treated according to the ordinary Firsov theory, whereas for the charged part of the ion beam earlier classical stopping power calculations for point charges by Kührt and Wedell are used.

摘要:
The fundamental processes whose knowledge is necessary to the understanding of interstitialcy diffusion in bcc—as compared to fee—lattices are discussed. A major difference is that there is no possible cage effect for mixed <IIO> dumbbells in bee lattices, whatever the jump mechanism (with or without rotation) may be. Besides, jumps without rotation are favoured in bee's as compared to fee's. For these two reasons, long range diffusion of solute atoms apt to form mixed interstitials, by an interstitialcy mechanism, that is at low temperature, should be greatly favoured in bcc lattices.

摘要:
The method of thermally stimulated charge release has been used to investigate the effect of UV radiation on the implantation-induced defects in the interfacial region of Si-SiO2 structures. The process of defect annealing has been observed. Defect creation is a competing process after long time UV irradiation.
