摘要:
The growth of Ni3Si surface films on Ni-12.7at%Si alloys has been measured during lMeV electron irradiation. Stereoscopic techniques were used to determine film thickness from dark field images formed from Ni3Si superlattice reflections. Parabolic growth kinetics are observed at lower temperatures. However, at higher temperatures, deviations from parabolic kinetics are observed after short irradiation times. Such deviations have not been observed in bulk specimens during bombardment with energetic ions and, therefore, may be due to foil thickness effects.

摘要:
Angular scans of theγ -ray yields along the ⟨ 100 ⟩ axis and {110}, {100} planes indicate that nitrogen atoms occupy octahedral interstitial sites in niobium. An unexpected enhancement of the resonantγ -ray yields from the nuclear reaction15N(p,αγ)12C is found for the ⟨ 100 ⟩ axis of theNb-0.2 At.%15N single crystal.

摘要:
The amount of first stage coloration in NaCl doped with Ca2+, Sr2+Cd2+, or Eu2+has been investigated as a function of the X-irradiation dose rate. It was ascertained that in all cases the amount of first stage coloration is proportional to the square root of X-irradiation dose rate in agreement with the models recently developed by Comins and Carragher and Aguilar et al for F-center produc tion in the alkali halides doped with divalent impurities.

摘要:
Temperature evolution during Ar - and N -implantation in a silver electrodeposited copper bar has been experimentally recorded. A theoretical model calculation for the target heating and cooling reproduces very well the experimental results. It is shown that N ions are more efficient than Ar ions in the sample heating.
