摘要:
Emission spectra of γ-irradiated doped and undoped BaFCl crystals have been recorded at RT and higher temperatures. An emission band at 390 nm was observed in BaFCl. In addition to this 390 nm band, a shoulder at 460 nm in BaFCl:Tl and a narrow band at 310 nm in BaFCl:Gd were seen.

摘要:
The technique of transmission electron microscopy (TEM) has been applied to study the nature of damage rafts, which act as dislocation sources, in proton bombarded (5×1015, 1016protons cm2) GaAs. The results show that the rafts consist of a planar array of voids lying on the {110} planes. The dislocations generated at these rafts are glissile, of the (a/2) <110> type and glide on the {111} planes intersecting the rafts.

摘要:
Variation of the element composition of the fracture surface of 1X18H10T steel specimens in unirradiated and helium and hydrogen doped states during strain at 300, 600, and 800°C in the chamber of the special Auger-spectrometer has been investigated. It has been shown that in helium and hydrogen doped steel versus unirradiated state the fracture surface is enriched with phosphorus and nickel and impoverished with sulphur more intensively.

摘要:
The dynamics of ultrarelativistic axially channeled electrons in thick crystals is studied. It is revealed that a certain fraction of initial electrons have anomalously large dechanneling depths. It is shown also that the dechanneling depth in heavy and light crystals are comparable. In some cases, the number of channeled electrons can strongly increase at the expence of quasi-channeled electrons.

摘要:
The origin of the blue color of calcites from Perewal (USSR) has been investigated. It is suggested that radiation-induced color centers (CO3−3, dislocation and twinning are involved in the coloring mechanism. Evidence is obtained from thermoluminescence and optical absorption of natural and X-irradiated calcite samples.
