摘要:
A new modification of an earlier published model for the calculation of energy spectra of primary knocked atoms formed in the material under neutron, proton or other particle irradiation is being considered in the present paper. The new approach takes into account the angular momenta of interacting particles within the limits of the compound nucleus model. It is found that the model allows to carry out more accurate estimation of the quantities of nuclear reaction products. It also modifies the shape of the PKA energy spectrum. Control calculations for the nuclear reactions caused in proton irradiated copper have been made. The results of these calculations are in good agreement with the excitation functions for the nuclear reactions.

摘要:
The results of the investigations of the neutron irradiation influence on the superconducting transition critical temperature (Tc) of pure and pre-hydrogenized intermetallic V2Zr are presented. The irradiation (3. 1022m−2, E≥ 0. 1 MeV) of pure specimens does not lead to any considerable Tcand Δ Tcchange, while in hydrogen-containing specimens Tc decreases, and Δ Tc is essentially broadened towards lower temperatures.

摘要:
Both positron and electron channeling radiation peak energies corresponding to the planar channels in diamond and silicon are calculated and compared with experimental ones at particle energies of 28-56 MeV. The potential model used is an approximate form of the Hartree-Fock potential, proposed in our previous works. The obtained results are in good agreement with experiment.

摘要:
Depth distribution profiles of 15 to 350 keV69Ga+ implanted at room temperature in amorphized silicon have been measured by4He ion Rutherford backscattering. The measured projected ranges and range stragglings are in excellent agreement with the predictions calculated via realistic Monte Carlo simulations, TRIM code.

摘要:
Tissue equivalent (TE) lyoluminescence (LL) dosimetry requires practical amount of phosphor for dissolution, typically 5-30 mg. Pronounced mass quenching effect has been observed even in the region of 5 mg, in the cases of LL of lactose-monohydrate, d-glucose, d-mannose, raffinose, sucrose and 1-glutamine. Ordinary concentration-quenching is non-existent but yield per mg falls rapidly with increasing mass of the phosphor. The curves have been fitted with a self-absorption type formula. A well-recognised dose effect is present in quenching curves. The role of free radicals at high radiation doses has been discussed in the contribution of dose effect in quenching.

摘要:
This work presents a Monte Carlo simulation of the spontaneous recovery of damage in a silicon target periodically exposed to a beam of energetic ions. Each exposure is supposed to generate vacancy-interstitial pairs with a random distribution and the transient following each flash is analysed by simulating the random walks of defects. The occurrence of events such as clustering and annihilation is examined in terms of dose and damage growth-rate. The results of the simulation are compared with TEM observations.

摘要:
The swelling of gelatin films exposed to β-rays was studied. The irradiation caused the destruction of gelatin films, which increased their swelling and made them soluble depending on the degree of destruction. Two latter processes were yet more enhaced with proteolytic enzymes, which has been suggested to use for detection of radiation.
