摘要:
Within the framework of classical mechanics, the radiation emitted by axial-channeled electrons has been studied by computer simulation. The pattern of a spiral motion of an electron channeled along the major axis is found to depend strongly on the entrance condition of the electron at the crystal surface. The profile of the calculated intensity spectrum shows a good agreement with that of the experimental spectrum.

摘要:
Transverse energy levels of channeled electrons and photon energies due to the channeling radiation are calculated for major planes of silicon and germanium crystals. Results show a good agreement with photon energies observed in a silicon crystal. Number spectrum of photons and the effect of thermal vibrations on the photon energy are discussed.

摘要:
A classical theory of axial channeling in thick crystals is formulated and the Fokker-Planck kinetic equation is obtained. It describes the diffusion of the beam of axial channeling negative particles over the transverse energy and angular momentum due to the inelastic scattering from electrons and the thermal vibrations. Estimates of the dechanneling length of ultrarelativistic electrons are made.

摘要:
The relationship between channeling radiation and Bremsstrahlung is analysed on the basis of classical electrodynamics. It is shown that these two types of radiation are of different nature though in a number of cases they have some common features. A detailed analysis is made of their interference at the axis-plane transition channeling and quasichanneling. It is shown that at the axis-plane transition channeling both the channeling radiation and the coherent Bremsstrahlung can be observed simultaneously at a fixed crystal orientation. Their interference will lead to appearance of a fine structure in the coherent Bremsstrahlung.

摘要:
An investigation of the classical equations of motion of charged particles interacting with a string continuum potential of a crystal is carried out. Energy losses of particles resulting from electromagnetic radiation in the general case taking account of a possible non-dipole character of radiation are calculated. Analytical expressions both for spectral and spectral-angular distributions of radiation from electrons and positrons scattered by atomic strings of a crystal are obtained. The influence of the medium polarization upon radiation is also discussed.

摘要:
The dynamics, radiation and possibilities of the radiation spin separation of positron channeling in bent crystals are studied. It is shown that the channeling of ultrahigh energy positrons both in bent and straight (normal) crystals can serve as an effective source of hard photons. The radiative separation of particles depending on spin orientation with respect to the plane of motion and the radiative polarization can make it possible to obtain, by means of bent crystals, a positron beam with a degree of polarization about 10 to 20%.
