摘要:
We report the temperature dependence of the incorporation of Ga during LPE growth of In0.53Ga0.47As on (111)B‐ and (100) ‐oriented InP substrates. The distribution coefficients of Ga can be accurately represented byKGa(111)B=6.40×10−6 exp(1.10/kT) andKGa(100)=5.02×10−13 exp(2.37/kT), which are equal at 629 °C. The difference in activation energies is the source of the ’’discrepancy’’ reported by Pearsalletal. thatKGa(111)B<KGa(100)at 621 °C while from our resultsKGa(111)B≳KGa(100)at 650 °C.

Adiabatic frequency modulation of a superconducting resonator has been achieved by pulsed microwave interference. The technique has been shown to produce phase‐coherent variable‐frequency pulse‐power gain.

摘要:
The atomization technique, which is widely used for producing metallic powders in a large quantity, has been applied to the preparation of amorphous powder of Fe‐Si‐B alloys fairly successfully. The as‐quenched powder consists of noncrystalline and crystalline portions. The fractional volume of the noncrystalline portion increases with decreasing particle size and exceeds 80% for 20‐&mgr; particles. The crystallization temperature of this powder is almost the same as that of the amorphous ribbon with similar composition.

摘要:
Discrimination ofS=1 and 0 bubbles using dynamic bubble collapse and a state‐stability test under quasistatic translation were tried for aYY‐pattern racetrack on a 3‐&mgr;m bubble film with a YIG capping layer. The bias‐field margin for collapse discrimination was 5 Oe. These two states were stable for 140–160 Oe of bias field and for 25–50 Oe of rotating in‐plane field.

摘要:
Amorphous ferromagnetic thin films containing one or more transition metals and one or more glass formers have been fabricated by sputtering. Typical magnetic properties of these thin films are comparable to those of bulk amorphous alloys with corresponding compositions. Thermal stability and annealing characteristics of these amorphous thin films are discussed.
