摘要:
The focus of health education activities needs to vary with the meaning of the condition to the society, but, based on this meaning, it should enable laymen and physicians to understand their mutual obligations and rights within the sick role. Moreover, it should not be restricted to the lower socioeconomic group, but should include the well educated, who have difficulties in recognizing the limits of their ability to deal with dysfunction, and the medical profession, who may not understand the powerful but confusing role played by the strong sense of personal responsibility toward health maintenance which middle class persons experience. Finally, it should find means for providing sanction for seeking help for dysfunctions which involve emotions and human interaction.
