摘要:
Spin parity measurements for the &igr;(1440) and &thgr;(1700) confirm previous experiments. The &pgr;+&pgr;−‐mode of the &thgr;(1700) is observed with a sizeable branching ratio. The helicity amplitudes for the &thgr;(1700) appear to be different from thef’(1515). Two broad states are observed near the &igr;(1440) mass in the &ggr;&ggr;&pgr;+&pgr;−final state and near theh(2030) in the &ggr;&pgr;+&pgr;−final state.

摘要:
We have performed a partial‐wave analysis of the K+K¯o&pgr;−system produced in the reaction &pgr;−p→K+K¯o&pgr;−n at 8.0 GeV/c. We find that the D(1285) is a JPG=1++state coupling predominantly to a &dgr;&pgr; decay channel, while the E(1420) peak consists mostly of a JPG=0−+wave with a substantial &dgr;&pgr; decay mode. There is little evidence of a 1++resonance at the E mass.

摘要:
Measurements of J/psi hadronic and radiative decay have been made. Mass spectra and branching ratios for these processes have been determined. And masses and widths for resonances, X, produced in processes J/psi to gamma+X to hadrons(photons) are presented. These masses and widths were determined from Monte Carlo calculations.

摘要:
The observations of three resonances (in the reaction &pgr;−p→&fgr;&fgr;n) which break down the OZI suppression was attributed to the production of these states by 1–3 glueball(s). The final partial wave analysis of ≊4,000 &fgr;&fgr;n events was presented and agrees with prior wave analysis publications withing errors. Alternative explanations in terms of otherwise explaining the OZI suppression breakdown or finding other kinematic mechanisms to explain the BNL/CCNY data are discussed and found to be incorrect and do not fit the characteristics of the experimental data.

Measurements of &pgr;N↑→&pgr;+&pgr;−N reaction on polarized target at 6, 12 and 17.2 GeV/c provide evidence for a new resonant state 0++(750) with a &pgr;+&pgr;−decay width of 100 MeV or less. The o++(750) meason is best understood as the lowest mass gluonium state 0++(gg).

摘要:
I show that the existence of glueballs is necessary as a consequence of the meson mass spectrum, if, one assumes asymptotic freedom and unitarity. From similar arguments, with minimum dependence on specific models, I find limits on the masses of vector and tensor glueballs. I construct a nonorthogonal mixing model which works well for all but the scalar nonet. Within such a mixing model I find the &igr; unlikely to be a glueball. I expect glueballs to contribute little to the decay rates of mesons, however the meson masses do depend sensitively on glueballs. Also, I expect &psgr; → &ggr;+ glueball decay rate to be small. In view of this, the resonances gT(2120), gT(2220) and gT(2360) can consistently be explained as glueballs.

In this talk we investigate the possibility that states that have a mixed quarkonium‐gluonium content exist and would be their spectroscopy. The beginning of this analysis was inspired by questions raised about the nature of &igr;(1440). The analysis will include mass spectroscopy, radiative decays and production data for such states from J/&psgr; and &psgr;’(3685) as well as prospects for the future.

摘要:
The plaquette‐plaquette correlation functions are measured in an SU(2) lattice gauge Monte Carlo simulation with 84lattices. The measured 0++and 2++glueball masses agree with the earlier measurements. The vacuum to glueball transition amplitudes are extracted. They are used to estimate the glueball branching ratio in J/&psgr; radiative decays and the results are compared with the existing experimental data.
