The authors find that scans made following the administration of radioactive strontium offer the most sensitive tool for the search for skeletal metastasis from prostatic carcinoma. They were especially useful in identifying sites for diagnostic bone biopsy.

Heat stroke is one of the hazards of football which may be fatal, particularly in the early fall in a hot and humid atmosphere. The accompanying case report illustrates the problem. The author stresses the restrictions which should be enforced in football practice if theheat index, as determined by established technics, is above certain limits.
