AbstractAn excet and finite‐element analysis is used to predict the static bending and natural vibration response of rectangular plates laminated of composite material having different elastic properties depending upon whether the fiber‐direction strains are tensile or compressive. The analysis is based on a theory that accounts for anisotropy, bending‐stretching coupling, thickness shear deformation, and both coupling inertia und rotatory inertia. The finite‐element results are found to agree very closely with the exact closed‐form solutions in the case of a cross‐ply rectangular plate having simply supported edges and subjected to sinusoidally distributed normal‐pressure loading or temper

AbstractA new technique is proposed to the coupled thermoelastic problems in three‐dimensions. AbstractIsotrope hyper‐ und hypoelastische Elastizitätsgesetze werden in ihrer Beziehung zum klassischen Verzweigungsproblem diskutiert. 摘要:
AbstractAssuming that a change of pressure and temperature brings out phase transitions inside the Earth, the motion of the phase boundary inside the Earth due to pressure and temperature excitations at the Earth's surface has been determined under linear approximation. It is shown in this paper that the solution of this Stefan‐like problem consists not only of the phase boundary motion due to pressure and temperature excitation at the Earth's surface but also of the phase boundary motion due to different thermal properties at the two phases.
