AbstractUntersuchung von drei Reihen synthetischer Fluoramphibole:Die Synthese erfolgte auf zwei Wegen: 1. aus Festkörperreaktionen (900 bis 1000°C) – asbestähnliche Flouramphibole, 2. aus Schmelzen (1200–1300°C) – prismatische Kristalle dieser Verbindungen. Ergebnisse chemischer Analysen, chemische Formeln der untersuchten Fluoramphibole, kristalloptische und röntgenographische Daten werden vorgelegt. – Es wurde festgestellt, daß für die asbestähnlichen Fluoramphibole der Übergang von der rhombischen Struktur (Pnma) in die monokline (C2/m) sprungartig. bei isomorphem Einbau von mehr als 0,13 Ca2+, 0,34 Na+, 1,5 Mn2+Atomen pro Formeleinheit erfolgt. Bei Darstellung aus Schmelzen wurden die Werte 0,13 Ca2+, 0,34 Na+, 2 Mn2+als Grenzwerte erhalten, wobei rhombische Kristalle der Raumgruppe Pcubentstanden. – Es werden zwei Vorschläge für den Übergang von der monoklinen in die rhombische Struktur gemacht: 1. für natürliche Hydroxylamphibole: C2/m – P21/m – Pnma, 2. für synthetische Fluoramphibole:Erörterung von Mechanismen der Strukturumwandlung. – Die erhaltenen Daten führen zu der Annahme, daß in Amphibolen der Übergang von der monoklinen in die rhombische Struktur von der Natur der Kationen in der M4‐Stellung bestimmt wird. AbstractThe regularities of transformations of layer silicates under hydrothermal conditions have been examined. For solid phases reactions (transformation of AlSi layer silicates, reactions in AlSi gels) the main factors that control the formation of alumosilicates besides PT‐pH are the presence of admixtures of alkali and alkaliearth cations, likewise the presence of AlIVin the starting materials. The increasing of T and decreasing of P also promotes the preferred formation of layer alumosilicates than silicates of Al. For the reactions that pass through the dissolution of components the leading factor (under PTX = const) is thepH of the surrounding. In acid surrounding silicates with AlVIare formed and in alkaline conditions such phases, in which Al is an analog of silicon and supplies the tetrahedral positions. AbstractThe crystallization of the isomorphous system KAl(Cr)(SO4)2· 12 H2O under various conditions has been studied. It has been found that the rate of linear crystallization of the face (100) passes through a maximum on the interval of Cr3+concentrations 0.02–0.08 g ions/l which is shifted to the right with increasing temperature. Under the same conditions, the equilibrium coefficient of distribution of the microcomponentDhas been determined in single crystals.Ddecreases with the increase of the Cr3+concentration and the crystallization temperature. These results can be explained with the formation of complexes of Cr3+in the solution which decreases the active concentration of the ion and are selectively adsorbed on the face (100). At the same Cr3+concentration (0.058 g ion/l), the temperature dependence of the rate of growth of the face (100), as well as the influence of supersaturation on the rate of growth of the faces (100) and (111), have been studied. The apparent activation energy of crystallization of the face (100) has been determined to beE= 11.2 Kcal. · mol−1. The data obtained are compared with analogical results for pure KAl(SO4)21

AbstractA precipitation study has been made with nickel ammonium sulphate produced by mixing aqueous solutions of its constituent salts. Rates of nucleation, as indicated by the induction period, were measured for both agitated and non‐agitated systems over the temperature range 0–35 °C. The nucleation rate increases with increases in agitation and temperature but supersaturation has the dominant effect, as predicted by classical nucleation theory. AbstractEs wurde der Einfluß der Vibrationsamplitude auf die Kristallisationsgeschwindigkeit der Saccharose bei konstanter Schwingungsfrequenz von 100 Hz untersucht. Die Kristallisation wurde in Lösungen mit der Reinheit 75, 90 und 100 bei niedriger Übersättigung der Lösung (1,05) bei Temperaturen von 40, 60 und 80 °C durchgeführt. Bestimmung der Zunahme der Masse der Kristalle, welche, in entsprechenden Drahtkäfigen untergebracht, in die übersättigte Lösung eingetaucht waren und mittels eines elektromagnetischen Vibrators in Schwingungen versetzt wurden. Saccharoselösungen mit niedrigem Reinheitsquotienten erhielt man durch Mischung von Melasse, Kristallraffinade und destilliertem Wasser in entsprechendem Verhältnis.Es stellte sich ein positiver Einfluß der Amplitudenvergrößerung auf die Kristallisationsgeschwindigkeit in Lösungen mit hoher Reinheit und bei niedriger Temperatur heraus. In reiner Saccharoselösung und bei 40 °C verursachte die Vergrößerung der Vibrationsamplitude von 1 auf 4 mm eine Erhöhung der Kristallisationsgeschwindigkeit durchschnittlich um etwa 45%, dagegen bei 80 °C durchschnittlich um etwa 20%. Wenn man dagegen die Vibrationsamplitude bei niedrigerer Reinheit der Lösung vergrößerte, stellte man keine Beschleunigung der Kristallisation fest.Die Arbeit enthält die Beschreibung der Apparatur und der Meßmethodik; die wichtigsten Ergebnisse sind in Tabellen zusammen‐ u
