AbstractFrom 2‐methylthioimidazoline and phenaeylbromides in DMF there were obtained the 2‐(2‐methylthio‐2‐imidazolin‐1‐yl)aeetopht'nones3a‐3f. From these the substituted 3‐phenyl‐1,4,6,7‐tetrahytlroimidazo[2,1‐c][1,2,4]triazines4a‐4nwere prepared upon reaction with hydrazine and methylhydrazine respectively. Compound 4a was degraded to the triazine 6. From the (2‐methylthio‐2‐imidazolin‐l‐yl)‐acetie acid ester 10, the imidazo[2,1‐c] [1,2,4]triazines11a‐11cwere prepared. Selective ethylation on the oxygen was achieved

摘要:
AbstractSynthesis of substituted 3‐acyl‐4‐carbethoxypyrazoles, 5‐earbethoxy‐4(1H)pyridazinones and pyrazolo[3,4‐d]pyridazine‐4(5H)ones is described. They involve the reaction of the 2,5‐substituted‐4‐earbelhoxy‐2‐hydroxy, methoxy and acetoxy‐3(2H)furanones with hydrazine hydrate. The reaction was found to be dependent on the hydroxy, methoxy or acetoxy substituents of these furanones and proceeds with ring opening followed by cy clisation. Pyrazoles were formed with hydroxy or methoxy substituents while pyridazinones are afforded with acetoxy group. Abstracts‐Triazolo[4,3‐bJpyridazine (I) photochemically reacted with dihydropyran; 2,3‐dihydro‐p‐dioxin; 2,5‐dihydrofuran; 2,5‐dimethoxy‐2,5‐dihydrofuran; and 1,3‐dioxep‐5‐ene to give a new series of substituted pyrrolo[1,2‐b]‐.s‐triazoles (II‐IX). In most reactions, two or more products were formed. AbstractA series of novel macrocyclic multidentate crown compounds have been prepared from a series of dioxodioic acids. The dioxodioic acids were prepared by treating various oligoethylene glycols or amines with maleic, succinic, citraconic, and glutaric anhydrides. The crown compounds were then synthesized from the dioxodioic acid chlorides obtained from the diacids and various oligoethylene glycols or ethylene diamine. The following macrocyclic compounds have been prepared: 1,4,9,12‐tetraoxacyclohexadecane‐5,8,13,16‐tetrone (1); 1,4,7,10,15,18‐hexaoxacyclodocosane‐11,14,19,22‐tetrone (2); 1,4‐dioxa‐9,12‐diazacyclohexadecane‐5,8,13,16‐tetrone (3); 1,4,7‐trioxa‐12,15‐diazacyclonoadecane‐8,11,16,19‐tetrone (4); 1,4,7,10‐tetraoxa‐15,18‐diazacyclodocosane‐11,14,19,22‐tetrone (5); 4‐benzyl‐1,7,12,15‐tetraoxa‐4‐azacyclonona‐decane‐8,11,16,19‐tetrone (6); 1,4,7,12,15,18‐hexaoxacyclodocosa‐9,20‐diene‐8,11,19,22‐tetrone(7); and 9,21‐dimethyl‐1,4,7,1

AbstractThe rates of base‐catalyzed hydrogen‐deuterium exchange at C‐2 in 1‐benzothiophene, benzofuran, benzothiazole and benzoxazole were studied. For benzothiophene benzofuran the relative second‐order rale constants of hydrogen‐deuterium exchange were 4:1, while for benzothiazole and benzoxazole they were 1:20. These data can be explained by assuming that the sulphur heteroatom interacts electronically with the atom in position 3 of the five‐membered ring. While, very probably, the d‐orbital conjugation cannot depend much on the: atom in position 3, the polarization phenomena can vary more with the atom in position 3.
