摘要:
Lagoon sediments from the Littorina time have been investigated in Blekinge by biostratigraphic methods. The absolute chronology is based on 50 radiocarbon datings. The results from nine sites have been synthesised into a diagram to show the shore line displacement. The complex Littorina transgression has been subdivided into six Atlantic and Sub-Boreal transgressions, no. I dated to 5000–4700, II to 4500–4300, III to 3900–3600, IV to 3500–3300 but faintly separated from the preceding one, V to 2700–2500 and VI to 2100–1900 B. C. It is supposed that the sea in this area reached its maximum level during no. IV.

摘要:
In the Kullen region in northwestern Scania, the author has examined the lithologic composition of the fine gravel fraction in different till beds, with the aim of elucidating the direction and chronology of the corresponding ice streams. The determining factor has been to find, in one and the same section, direction-indicating additional material in a till in relation to the immediate older till. Complete till cuttings have been prerequisite for this. Two examples are given of the applicability of the method in the Kullen region, where there are very few conventional indicator boulders. The examples are illustrated by diagrams which show the changes in the lithologic composition of the different stratigraphic levels in each section. The method and results of the author differ in essential respects from those of earlier investigators in this region.

摘要:
An attempt is made to summarize the investigations made by C.-A. Althin (1954 a, 1954 b) and Tage Nilsson (1935, 1964 a, 1964 b, 1967) concerning the peat-bogs Ageröds mosse and Rönneholms mosse.

摘要:
The finding place and the finding circumstances of the probably complete skeleton of an aurochs are reported. The find was made during excavation of a small fen, 1 km SW of Nevishög church in Scania. It is pollen analytically and radiometrically dated to the transition between the Early and Late Boreal periods. Earlier finds of aurochs in Scania are discussed.
