摘要:
A variety of numerical models for calculating the solar irradiance for an inclined surface are described and evaluated using data for Vancouver, B.C., Canada. While all the hourly models have a common approach for calculating the direct component of the solar irradiance there is a variety of methods for calculating the diffuse irradiance based on the portion of the sky hemisphere within the field of view of the surface. A less significant distinction between the models is in the methods used to calculate the amount of radiation received as a result of reflection from adjacent surfaces.

摘要:
The monthly frequency distribution of solar irradiance has now become a common meteorological input for solar energy system sizing methods, either directly or through the concept of “Utilizability”. Cumulative Frequency Curves (CFC) of solar irradiance were investigated within the frame of the European Solar Energy R and D Programme (Project F). The aim of this study was to prepare a European data set of CFC's for various typical climates and tilted planes.

摘要:
This paper describes the technology and optical properties of the selective absorber coating prepared on industrial pure aluminium or aluminium alloys by the anodizing and colouring method. The optical properties of the coating are solar absorptance αs= 0.94 (AM2) and normal thermal emittance ϵ = 0.10; the coating was stable during the ageing test. Scanning electron micrographs of surface morphology and fracture section as well as Auger depth profiling data of the coating are given. Based on this information, a coating structure model of Ni particle pigmented A12O3film is proposed in which the Ni concentration has a graded distribution. Bruggeman effective medium theory and multilayer matrix technique are used to calculate the spectral reflectance of the coating in the wavelength range 0.3 to 20 μm. The result shows that the theoretical value is approximately in agreement with the experimental data. The effect of morphology on the optical properties of coatings is also discussed.

摘要:
The present paper investigates the problem of designing control gear for direct gain system applications. First the direct gain systems are briefly reviewed and the controller requirements are established. Next the decision to apply ON/OFF control strategy is made. Then a controller design based on a single chip computer (68701) is described including the choice and necessary interface of the temperature and humidity sensors.
